to have 3d crowd eliminated?

I've noticed that when I'm using some of the street courts
( made by the hard-working community member JaoSming )
I got a noticible fps increase and then I can turn the resolution
or AA higher , so I doubt that's because those (not all) street
courts have a lot less 3d crowd in there...

so I wonder if we could have most 3d crowds eliminated in the
regular courts (substitute them with 2d crowd) for performance
reason.

I don't mind doing the patching myself. so I just want to sure if
this is possible and how can I do it ( sth. like ebo editing tutorial...)

i believe if you turn your environment settings down lower every stadium will be replaced with a generic one with no 3D crowd.

well... I did try to set the environment settings to 'low'
but it just doesn't work. 3d crowds are still there~
