hehe, i saw my fellow pinoy bokayo's .ebo thread... i was curious if i could still successfully edit headshapes (last time i did it was back in 04) i started to tinker with it and here is were i got to so far, and who better to test it than this guy...

DELETED preview can be seen a few post down

haven't edited the front part of his face yet, but the side view shown was based on a very good profile pic of mj... :wink:

ye courtney, the tool really opens up a lot of possiblities now... so i really expect the guys to step up as well... big props to bokayo for making it possible...

sorry guys, but i can't do your requests at this time... there are loads of other great patchers currently active that could surely help you or do those players eventually...

now for the title of the thread... whassup guys, it's been awhile... i noticed lots of new patchers blossoming in the forums which is a good thing... i'm still out for 07 but as i was watching a tribute on nba tv featuring sir charles yesterday it occured to me that he was the only one in my m.l.a. packs that didn't have the luxury of a highly detailed cyberface so i said to myself... dang, he needs a new cf badly... so i mustered up all the time that i had (and the skills if i still have it ) to re-do him... just think of this as a post christmas and new years gift from me since i didn't have one during those times...

without further ado, sir charles version two (hehe, a little rhyme going on there)

since it is intended as a gift, i have to know though if you guys are interested in it... because what good is a gift if nobody wants it...

PLEASE RELEASE IT MY FRIEND!!!

thanks for the kind words Baphomet, charles is still under construction... actually haven't touch him since i last posted :oops:

... i'm still not satisfied with the back of his bhed, don't worry though... i'll try to release it together with the my customized mj which is still currently in progress as seen below... :wink:

looks like youngish mj...you need to work more on ears...and much more...it resembles jordan, but i believe you could do it better..

thanks for the comments guys, still rusty since it's only the 2nd day i tinkered with the ebo editor... :oops:

i eliminated the factors that makes mj looks young-ish:

- removed the lighting for preview, because the shine makes the details/age lines on the face almost non visible
- modified the headshape again making it less rounder than the 1st front view preview

DELETED

new stuff that i tweaked:

- i found a good reference pic of mj looking straight forward and based the modified headshape through it (top of the head, ears, chin, neck and jaw all accounted for)

projected things to tweak:

- the eyes (still haven't edited the UV mapping for it, so it's still not aligned)
- cheekbones (that is if i find the damn vertices for it)
- make the side view of the nose less pointy (harder than it looks because there are not enough vertices on that part of the nose to make it smoother/rounder)
- and of course general tweaking of the whole face until it becomes A+ in quality (at least in my eyes... :shifty:

)

here's the latest preview on the direction i'm going with his airness... (and yes Aivaras, i noted the ears and edited it again... :wink:

personally, im becoming satisfied with it... i'll be out for a few more days again (i just spent 2 of my rest days editing this headshape) personal work resumes tomorrow until the weekend... so i need your output guys while i'm gone... :wink:

thanks for the tip c0nr4d, here's a side by side pic on where i based the headshape as you suggested... :wink:

take note that it's just the headshape accuracy i'm after on the right pic (since jordan in his prime looking straight forward is hard to find and that headshapes doesn't change drastically)... i'm gunning for his look in the mid 90s facial features-wise so it's noticeable that his brows are still arched down, his eyes more focused and his lower lip a tad more thicker like in this pic below

Agreed slightly longer chin...and remove some of those bags from under his eyes...makes him look like older Jordan. Other than that I think its perfect...u can fix the ears if you want too... but its really that not important. I'll take it :wink:

haha i get it now man, thanks for "visual" representation... :wink:

nobody seemed to notice it but the eyes should be slightly farther away from each other too...
