Because it looks much better. As it is now the net even looks kinda 2 dimensional . Add that in with the terrible aliasing which is even noticable in screenshots and it really becomes an eyesore... (Thank EA for their laziness. Our patchers have done a great job improving it as best as they can) Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think these textures can be done because that would be editing stuff that we can't edit (like net animation)?
