Just running, no walking anymore? Left Analog underutilized

Could be just another bug, but my left analog stick seems to be turned into a digital control in NBA Live 07.

I can either run at normal speed with my players, or let them stand still.

In Live 06, you were able to walk real slowly when getting the ball up court and wait until the offense plays were run properly, and then get the ball into action. Or you could run a little faster, all depending of how much you tilt the analog stick in one direction.

In Live 07, I don't have those options. It's either run or stand. Nothing in between.

Or did I mess up my settings? I am using a Logitech Dual Action 2, but when I try to configure the controller in the "MOVEMENT" window (press right once on the OFFENSE/DEFENSE controller setup screen, then you will get another controller configuration window dealing with the set plays, freestyle controls and movement), and I press on UP for instance, and then move my left analog stick UP, nothing changes...

I just want to be able to walk around with my players! It just is much more realistic than running a short distance at full speed.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

i started a thread on this subject already. Looks like it doesn't work no matter which pad you're using. My only advice to you would be to give up on this POS and go back to Live 06.
