JUST A CRAZY IDEA (never done before):
1) Install NBA LIVE 07
2) Install a PC sound recorder software.
3) Enter an exhibition game with all the rookies you want.
4) Turn off music and crowd so you will only listen the announcer.
5) Play the game and once you are controlling a rookie turn on the recorder and make a play (score or foul) so that the announcer say the name and you have it recorded.
6) Use a wav editor to cut the useless recording seconds.
Sounds hard but it's quite simple if you get used to both softwares needed. Generally they are simple to use since they function with shortcuts or hot keys.
IF YOU DON'T HAVE LIVE 07:
1) Install a PC speech software like CoolSpeech.
2) Select a "real voice" and play a little with the settings to add some expression or vividness to the speaking.
3) Type the rookie's name.
4) Save as wav and hear a preview.
5) Add to Nba Live 06 using Audy 06.
6) It sounds a little bit different, but the crowd and sound effects kinda help the voice of the "new" announcer to sound real.
This second option helped me to have Thabo Sefolosha's speech since it's impossible to use wav cutter softwares to edit speech files with other names (For example I mixed Tyus Edney first name and Tim Thomas last name to cut both speeches and have a "Tyus Thooomas" announcing in game - it sounds just like "Tyrus". There's no other Thabo in the NBA nor Sefolosha or similar).
Well, hope you get some ideas from these tips.
