Gerald Green requires a significant boost in his 3PT rating.. he's shooting around 43% this year, and is career 40-41% (though his mid range game needs work, he's an accomplished long bomber, and of course, dunker)

Anthony Parker (raps) isnt a superstar or anything, but his 46% FG, and 42% 3PT show that he's at least a good, to above long range shooter at this point in his career.

Garbajosa (raps) has excellent defensive positioning and presence)... if such a rating exists

nesterovic (raps) is shooting 50%, which is prett impressive considering he has a very limited low post game.. great mjority of his baskets are short jumpers..

jose calderon and TJ ford shoudl have increased fG percentages (especially calderon, who's improved his shot greatly this year, and is at 50% this year).

thanks
Mad Eric

Andrew, thanks a lot man for your roster.
But I just looked through your roster and already have some questions. Let's compare Rip Hamilton and Ben Gordon. I think that Rip is underrated.
I know u r Bulls fan but why u made Gordon so strong at the offensive end(especially fg-86) while his fg percentage is .457? For comparison Rip Hamilton's fg% is .459 but he has fg only 80. Increase Rip's fg please.
Also Hamilton takes more rebounds than Gordon(Rip-4.2, Ben-2.7) but their rebound ratings are similar. Increase Rip's rebounds.
Hamilton is not worse passer than Gordon(looking at stats Rip averages 3.6 assists, Gordon - 3.3 assists), but he has pass rating 55 while Gordon has 68. Make Rip's pass 68 atleast.
And I really think that Rip deserves more def.aware(something like 70-75) and 3pt(may be 75-78).
Hope you'll take my suggestions.
Thanks a lot for your roster anyway :)

Everything is okay. There are no portrait for garbajosa and Boozer's overall rating is 77 in Andrew's roster.

rockysss: Please don't double post. You're going to have to be a lot more patient than that as well. Not all posts are answered immediately. Also, as I explained earlier, I do not boost overall ratings simply so they look better. I will however take another look at Boozer's individual ratings as there's likely areas in which he can be made better. And yes, I'm aware there are missing portraits, I hope to have that resolved in future releases.

Mad Eric: Sounds good to me, thanks for the info. :)

Grosso: That certainly wasn't intentional. ;) I did intend to raise some of Hamilton's ratings to account for his performance this season but it seems a further increase in some areas is in order. (Y)

There shouldn't be any problem utilising face and portrait patches with the roster. You might want to check out the Faces Troubleshooting.txt file to see if those directions fix the problem.

great job on the patch, Andrew! Can't wait until you get the sliders update done.

I'm not sure if anyone else noticed this but I saw that TJ Ford is designated a superstar playmaker (in the starting lineups screen, under freestyle superstar types) but when you're actually playing the game, his freestyle icon is blue (ie., a star playmaker). I tried doing the superstar playmaker passes but obvioulsy they didn't work. Not sure if this happens with other players, but I thought this was strange.

Is this a bug, Andrew?

Hi Andrew. I have looked your rosters and have some things:

1. Chris Bosh. He should be superstar inside scorer. And his rebound ability is very high than last season - he grab is 11.5 rebound per game ( 9.2 in last season)
2. A.Parker. He playing in starting 5 in Toronto, shooting more than 42% ! 3 pt. and 47! %fg. 12 pts per game. Mobley with 42% 3 pt and 43% fg have 80 and 80 fg ratings and star shooter, but Parker made more 3pt per game, not looking well as he spending more time on the court than Parker.
3. J.O'neal. Best blocker in the NBA have more than 3 bloсks. He made is one block minimum in every game in this season. Block rating and defensive ability should be better. Also his speed and quick was good in your 06 live rosters. 65 was.
4. Okafor. The same situation with J.O'neal. Second blocker in NBA! Block rating and defensive ability should be better. Also rebounds, especially offensive.
5. G.Arenas. He can't dunk in the roster.
6. A.Iguodala. His fg. should be about 70 not smaller. He can make jump-shoots well.
7. Shawn Marion, Gerald Wallace and Andre Iguodala is one of the best outside stoppers in the league and they should have super stars stoppers.

Lynn Greer has too small 3 PT Shooting. When he plays in Europe he has got almost 50% from 3PT Line.

I have some suggestions by some players:
Tony Parker(SAS). He didn't shot threes very well during his career, but in this season when he shot them he made it very well with 3pt% .478% - better than ever in his career. I think he deserves 3pt 68.
Shane Battier. Of course he is not a superstar like T-Mac or Yao, but he is one of the reasons why Rockets play well this season. Even without its leaders. First of all Battier needs improve in his 3pt skill. He shots a lot of threes(ranked #10 in the NBA in Three-Point Field Goals Made), but his 3pt% good enough - .414. Also his fg must be improved because he shots with .453% from the field - also very good. I think he must have fg-75 and 3pt-73. Also in comparison with Tayshaun Prince Shane Battier makes more blocks per game, so I think he deserves block rating 60-65. And also in my opinion his steal rating must be increased to 75.
That's all for now. I'll write some more suggestions later. Hope my suggestions will help you in making roster Andrew.

hi andrew and friends..
i think you did a greate job and i have my suggestion to improve the patch..

. J.O'neal. Best blocker in the NBA have more than 3 bloсks. He made is one block minimum in every game in this season. Block rating and defensive ability should be better. Also his speed and quick was good in your 06

4. Okafor. The same situation with J.O'neal. Second blocker in NBA! Block rating and defensive ability should be better. Also rebounds, especially offensive.

some suggestions:

1) first of all, J.O'Neal or E.Okafor aren't the best shot blockers...
the best is A.Mourning.. who is avaraging 2.9 in just 23.5 minutes.. so he needs to be 97-99 at blocking...

2) there are some players that needs to be Power star..
if you decide to give Okafor Power star(14.7 per 35.5min) so Big Ben and A.Mourning (10 points per 23.5) needs to be too . all of those guys play hard down with a lot of greate power moves/dunks.... so consider that..

3) E.Okafor definitely deserve FSS Shot Blocker.. with 11 Rebounds and almost 3 blocks..

4) Anthony Parker ( i wrote on him just where the game came out) a great player. needs to get some improves in FG's, movements and general ratings... also i think (you may not agree with me) that he deserve Star outside scorer...

thanks.
