i know its late, but i enjoyed watching the Bynum vs Milicic matchup. Both had their way with the other. Still, both are raw and need PT but still it was an encouraging performance.

Well, I'm pretty happy how the last couple games have went for the Lakers.

Firstly I'm happy about the win against Sacramento where I felt they showed great character to not let poor officiating give away an almost secure win in the second half. I liked the fact Kobe allowed Smush to step into the limelight by getting that shot at the end of regulation and I loved how they battled to close out Sacramento in the end. Great effort by Bibby and its unfortunate to lose after a gamelike that but I'm not complaining really..Its the Lakers.

Tonight wasnt bad at all either vs Denver. Kobe had 10 asts and 8 pts which might not be his greatest statline but it showed he was willing to share the ball and not decide to chuck shots looking to stuff stats. Besides the huge victory, the statline I enjoyed reading the most was Andrew Bynum. The last game against the Kings he shot 5 of 6 from the field to score 15 pts with 11 boards and 3 blocks. Today he went 8 of 9 for 19 pts with 10 boards and a whopping 6 blocked shots. Thats like 13 of 15 from the field which equates to a very high percentage (you calculate it). Lots of guys got playing time and I really am happy they were able to come out tonight against a team looking for wins and shut down Iverson to get the W.

I hope Kobe was preserving that energy for the Mavs. The Lakers will need it.

If we lose three in a row, we fall to 6th in the West. :x But at least if the playoffs would start today with Lakers at 6th, we would play the Jazz.

Nice game going on in La against the Heat. It still amazes me that a player like Kobe Bryant doesnt get more help from the refs sometimes. Time and time again I see him drive to the hoop, get fouled and no call is made. Players like Lebron and Wade seem to always get those calls on the other hand. Ah well.

Lakers by 5 right now but lots of time left in the 4th for a letdown I dont wanna see. Hopefully they keep it up and pull out the win.

edit: I want this game to be over with already. Amazing how physical they have been on Kobe yet he is shooting his 2nd and 3rd free throws with under a minute left in overtime.

So I triple posted. Who cares? NLSC is moving too slow for me to click edit...

Happy the Lakers won this tonight. Earlier I got the feeling the lack of calls would cost us tonight but they pulled through and I dont have much complaints.

Difference in the game I felt was Kobe switching to guard Wade. He really didnt get going with Bryant on him and made a couple poor decisions which turned out favorable for LA.

nice win by the fakers. i was thinking though that kobe was trying to feed cook to try to get him to beat his career best. just like smush beat his own best on the last fakers game. cool though how the team has been winning with kobe playing his facilitator role in the first 3 qtrs, and taking over the 4th. Just wish they can play more defense when the next season rolls around. maybe another forward that can guard the 3-4 spots.

Nice win for the lakers..i think this is where kobe shows his maturity as a player and skill level over wade. Wade will get there one day though.

Lakers by 2 (I think) in the 3rd quarter. A really good game.

EDIT: Oh man he did it twice now on Duncan (posterboy of the night).

Yea it wasnt too good but I can live with it. I liked that stretch where they kept feeding it to Bynum and he got a couple dunks. I just love the upper body strength where it isnt easy to stop him close to the rim.

10 pt lead now and I must say the Lakers truly impress me in how they have been running their plays and slowly building their plays. Kobe is having a gem of a game and its just scary to think about what will happen when a guy like Odom returns to the lineup.

One of the best games this season in my opinion. L.A up by one with little over two minutes remaining. Hopefully they can close this one.

Turiaf with the clincher!!!!

5 pt game with 10 seconds left. Really great game.

EDIT: I really hate the NBA you know that.

I swear, I thought to myself I bet a million bucks somebody hits a 3 just for the drama and boom...they did. 2pt game with 5 secs.

Swear Barry has nerves of steal. Thats what the guy does. None the less the lakers got the job done. If they can knock off Dallas away from home tomorrow night (or is it the following night?) they'll be making a whole lot of noise.

Nice game tom :D I like the Mavs but i LOVE the Lakers, I'd like to see Kobe doing 40/8/8 , Dirk 30+, but of course Lakers would win. I think it would be an exciting game cause Lakers are on a roll now at the road trip and also the Mavs are on a streak again (correct me if im wrong)

mdertz, im with you on that one, I CANT WAIT FOR PLAYOFFS >< Kobe and the Laker's going to kill the Suns XD

Hey do you post at lakersground or clublakers? Because on LG there is also a username DB.

And the Lakers aren't going to beat the Mavs. The Lakers tend to have hangovers after big wins.

my username is, well, the same.

I really do want the Lakers to win now since Charles just said that Kobe Bryah and the Lakers are going to get beaten by a drum stick by the Mavs.
