Can my team make they'r own plays and calls, while am playin' with player lock?. And shoot themselves too, that would be nice.
Is there any modifications have to make, or is there patch for that?

u cant design your own plays but can choose from a set of plays under settins--->playbook-->offensive playbooks and under player lock i believe u can let the CPU shoot for u by pressing the right button

What do you mean by right button? Is there a button called the right button, or did you mean it like the correct button to press(in this case, shoot).

Also, how do you do pro hop? Didn't see it configure controller, but the computer does it all the time.

Press shoot to force your CPU teammate to shoot, press layup to force a layup.

Move up and hold the right analog stick for Pro Hop/ Power Dribble, Move and hold down on right analog stick on defence for defensive crouch.

Yea i know this , but i remember in live 2000 on ps1 you could play wit player lock without forcein them to shoot and make plays  .

Yes. When you are locked, the team will play and shoot and pass etc. However, for inbounds plays you must call for the ball.

This one is a bit off topic, but I tend to write those things into such threads instead of creating new ones.

I play live 07 with the PS2 controller on my PC and I do not like to move the players with the left analog stick, so I use the Direction Pad (D-Pad) for moving. Usually you call plays with the D-Pad, but since I use it for moving I cant call any plays. That takes a lot of the fun. But I do not have any other free buttons that I could use.

Does anybody know how to solve that problem, maybe with keyboard + Pad or somehting like that ?

thx in before

I've seen this problem too where the CPU players sometimes hold it for 24 second shot clock violation. When I see it happening, I hit the shot button with 3 seconds to go.

Yeah, me too. Another thing that really annoys me when I play player lock(which I do all the time) is when my cpu controlled teammate goes on the fast break and gets under the rim and just stands there without doing anything. Then I have to press dunk/lay-up button 3 or 4 times before he does something. At times, it's too late, and he is called for 3sec voilation. Other times, the cpu opponents catch up with him and block his shots or foul him or something. Soo annoying.

I get that also.

Can we email EA and let them know about these bugs so that they fix them for 2008? Anyone have the email address handy?
