i don't mean to cross-post, but i don't think anybody is reading the 2004 forums anymore, so i thought i'd ask my questions here. i'm looking for the ncaa mods (artwork and rosters) to use with nba live 2004pc. i couldn't find any of these files anywhere until jao gave me a archive link. i downloaded ncaaextra and ncaaroster63. i installed them in the main nba live 2004 directory in both the document directory and the main c:/program files/nba live 2004 directory. it installed fine and said it was ready to go for ncaa artwork but when i open the game, the artwork and rosters aren't in the game. does anybody know where i can re-download these files and how i should install them? these mods aren't listed in nba-live, nbavg, or nbalive.org

Since the .org page no longer exists, I don't think those files are still out there.

I don't have them on my computer anymore either, as I uninstalled Live 2004 and don't have the CD case anymore for the CD key.

I believe in 2004 you would have to turn customart on to see the changes?
I may be wrong, but I think that is your problem.

thank for the input guys. i did mention i found the ncaa mod files, but when i installed them, they didn't show up in the game. there was no "readme" with these mods so it didn't tell me what directory to install them in, so i installed the ncaaextra in both the nbalive game main directory and the nbalive 2004 main directory in the "documents" folder.
to answere the response about turning the custom art on, after i installed the ncaaextra mod, it stated the art has ncaa art swtiched on and if i wanted to swtich back to nba, i'd have to change it with that mod. something makes me think that i need a ncaa roster patch to install to make the artwork show up in the game. the only ncaa roster file i found was ncaaroster63.exe which is a version 6.3 of somebody's roster - i believe repole's, but when i double-click on it, it gives me a "not a valid win32 application" error message and i don't know how to install it. i know repole and UK_fan created these, but i can't get a hold of either one of those guys

You should try Desmond Mason's headshape if you haven't yet.

They are two different bheds. We want to know which bhed is better.

I like #1 better. More detail and true color, and #2 the headshape is too fat
Media photos or photos at the podium always seem to better depict the player’s true color.

I modified my Oregon Court a little. Here it is. When I find where the fsh for the basket stand is I will fix that.

I'm making the Oregon Ducks so when the mod is released I can add them in. Then I'm going to kick thier ass with the Wash Huskies.

On the court, you need to make the area around the green on the Oregon logo at midcourt transparent. I can see that you tried to put a wood texture instead, which makes it look pretty awkward.

The basket texture is located in the XXXXbbd.fsh file, under 'tbbd.'

If you add any team to NBA Live 2005, you might want to have logos.

do you think that you could make the goergia dome, the site for the 2007 ncaa final four in 2007? I know that the tournament will automaically have the higher seed be home and there would be no way to have the championship be played there, but it would still be cool to include it in the mod. It would have the center court logo look like this:

It would probably look about the same, jsut with a different color scheme and obviously the center court logo. We could just guess for the lane colors because there would be no real way to figure out what it will look like, but they will probably match the logo (maybe the red on the right for the lane and the blue in NCAA for the free throw area). The logo could also be along the baseline, as seen
in this picture above, or we could simply write FINAL FOUR 2007 on one side and ATLANTA GA on the other.
