So question for the mods: We decided custom soundtracks are not copyright infringement as long as they are in .asf format already prepared for Live...correct? (I'm asking because i'm going to start making my own custom soundtracks and want to make sure before i start uploading stuff)

illini, i think it is copyright infragment. I would not upload songs because it is better to be safe than sorry.

It's copyright infringement since you can convert them into .mp3.
What they guy with the Beastie Boys soundtrack did was legal since the Beastie Boys gave those files to everyone who wanted to mess around with them for free.

Donny and h0rt's posts in the beastie boys thread say otherwise, and they may not have come to a decision about it yet. Because I promise you the background music of the beasties files werent "pubilcly owned" or whatever that term is that makes songs OK to have (i mean without the purchasing of the cds of course). If the board hasnt come to a decision yet, i'll wait and see what decision is reached before i start working on it. Otherwise, i make it for myself. Not that i dont like the beasties music i got, I'm just a music freak and will probly change it up about 800 times during my gameplay...

Moderators, my previous account was banned because I still don't know the rules that time.. But I want to use the email address registered in that account because It's the email address that I use in everything I do in the internet..

So, my request is can I still use that email add for my current account?
