Just completed Live 2007 survey - shows their priorities

Postby JWL3 on Tue Dec 12, 2006 2:58 am

Just completed a survey EA sent me about Live 2007. It's very telling where their priorities lie. There was one question about Live 2007's quality. Then there were 50 questions about advertisements and shoes and stuff that's related to them making more money. The audacity of these assholes. If they made a decent product, more people would buy their game and they'd make more money. Their main priority is not to improve their game, but to sign all kinds of bullshit contracts and add glitz and gloss.

Honestly, I used to play Live 95 - 2006 almost every day after school/work. I even played 2001 for PC 2 years in a row daily because they screwed PC users in 2002 by not releasing a PC version. Live 2007 is the first game that's gotten me so discouraged that I play 2 games a month tops vs. computer.

I just completed the survey myself and I totally agree. Hopefully the forum members will take the survey and give their opinion also.

Yeah, I just filled it out as well. I can't believe all the questions about cell phones and shoes. I thought they really cared what my opinion was about the game. There was like one question about the actual game itself. Horrible...

Now how do we get back on EA? All I can think of is not to buy nba live 08. just borrow it. pardon me for my language but i really do envy those who bought illegal copies for a smaller amount of money. At least they didn't give profit to EA Sports.. It just hurts more if you buy a legit copy of the game, found out that it's low quality, and imagine how EA laughs at you for giving them your money. Just having sinister thoughts... I'm so frustrated and disappointed at the game. (even at the patch)

I took the survey also. Some of the questions are stupid like 'What cellphone service provider comes to mind when you read the phrase "get more"?' I gave alot of negative feedback about the in-game advertisements and the interest of getting exclusive shoes through the NBA Live product. I'd rather have them focus on the game itself instead of using it as a medium for the potential of gaining revenue through advertisements and sponsors.

Yea I dont know I've been playing this game since Live 97 and I got xbox 360 for christmas .. so it was a no brainer for me. I picked NBA 2k7 and will hope Live 08 improves a bunch.

It makes me laugh that I've started playing 1989's Civilization I instead of NBA Live 07.

07 is gathering dust on my DVD shelf.

I'd say it's just a precaution, since talking about having an illegal version of the game generally spawns more conversation about it like in that retard-fest when EA released the patch.

I'm not sure if this is the same survey or not, but it contained quite a bit of questions regarding the quality of the game and whatnot. I suggest everyone take it and let them know what you think about the game: http://www.insightexpress.com/s/NBAL110214

I wish I could take the survey but I dont feel I should. I barely played the game for two days so I doubt I could honestly answer any of those questions.

....so? just do it man, they need to know what they need fix in this game. Anyway a quarter of the questions are about 2k7
Opinions are my own.
