How do i save the dbf files with db commander?

I tried to do some editing with db commander, but i couldn't find a save button, and the changes are not saved if i just close it

can someone help me?

Umm, below the window that you edit, how can I explain this, there is this little buttom tjhat looks likea bent arrow, kind of circly like, it is very small, I think if you put your mouse over it it says refresh or something like that, You simply click that.

Weird, I just have to press the "enter" key each time I make a change and I can just exit after that.

How about in Excel? I have Office 2003 and whenever I try to save it in Excel, it asks that the format is not compatible. Which format should I save it as?
