Can some mod tell me which thread to use?

This is getting ridiculous. Never before on this forum have mods locked so many threads. Can someone tell me how to know which thread is the "wrong" one about to be locked and which is the "right" one so I don't keep wasting time posting in threads that are about to get locked and never read?

just read the 1st post, if its a question that has already been asked ie "why won't this patch work" then don't post in it

Use your better judgement, and common sense. Stickied threads also generally trump non-stickied threads. We don't need half a dozen threads on EA's patch, and why nobody can seem to get it to work, though; that we at least must agree on...
