I went on EASO said game was out dated checked for a patch and found this...

1. Fixed missing face texture for Renaldo Balkman
2. Fixed bug allowing users to release players during FA negotiation period
3. Fixed inverted text bug for direct pass
4. Fixed last man back functionality
5. Fixed bug with substitution logic and also added the following additional functionality:
* Added a CPU substitution frequency slider
* Added a Fatigue Effect On/Off option in general gameplay options
6. Fixed bug that had the wrong jerseys showing up in 1-on-1 and Freestyle game modes
7. Added functionality to view "average" stats
8. Added functionality to allow user to save stats in gameplay

yay.....i d/l it and it doesn't work. it gives me an error saying that the old file was not found, however a file with the same name was found. patching was not done since file contents do not match. Anyone else having this issue? or does anyone know how i might fix the issue? or is it yet another f*k up on ea's behalf?

its the official patch, because they have it released at nbalive.com but it doesnt work for me it gives me an error

figured it out guys this is the official one, ur errors mean....

u have bootleg or
u installed the "beta"...if u did re-install then apply this.

the size are different from the beta patch

5.17MB, and 5.27MB

Q. Add missing key players

A: The rosters are locked as of July 27. All unsigned players as of that date had to be left out due to our agreement with the NBA. This issue will be addressed with our first roster update which is scheduled for early November.

Well we all knew that but a couple of posters are asking the question so I thought it's best to get one of the mods to give it their blessing before everyone goes to town on EA , but if it's on the EA NBA Live page and it's still no good then let's start abusing EA (NOT REALLY).

I can't even install it, I get the 'old file' error message and I assure everyone that I don't have a bootleg or 'no cd' , it's the real deal. Seems like EA might have screwed us, surely we don't need a fresh install, I've only installed stuff to my SGSM folder, and Tieshan's shoes patch.

it seems legit if it's on the official site. it has my blessing.

also remember there are different patches for the CD and downloaded versions, so make sure you're downloading the right patch.

as far as the errors go, I'm pretty sure it's becuase of the "beta" patch being installed. All of you that are getting the error, did you guys all get the beta patch?

can some pls upload the patch after you installed the nba live 2007 ..cus when i installed the official patch it says old file not found.
pls help me cus my cd was broken and i cant install again my nba live 2007

I have the CD version and didn't install the beta patch. And it doesn't work for me, I downloaded the first one listed not the 'digital download'
