Redd22 Ultimate Gamefix Combo 2.1(Credit to Creators)

Well, here it is. My best combination yet. Keep in mind that little modifications have been made by me. The edit of AIACT files were done by Jimmy, MXA, Pdub, maybe another? I have combined the finest attributes of all of them and teamed them with my sliders and settings and also included the camera file I use, using the Press Cam.

These files, when placed in proper places, have given me a fantastic basketball sim. I urge you to try it. If you don't like it, just go back to your backup files.

I have not created an auto-install because I don't know how. I have not created a readme with instructions due to shortness of time.

In short, 1. Place aiact.viv in ai/act folder
2. Place all dbfs in all save folders, and db folders
3. mgd file goes in merlin folder
4. you can change your detail settings to suit your computer
5. back up all files you are replacing

I only endorse this set of files as they are, please do not expect them to work with any modifications (different cam, etc.). They might work with other pieces, but they are created to be used as I have them set.

I will answer questions when I can and I will be doing updates periodically. Have fun.

Before extracting files:
Back up all the files to be changed below by adding characters to filenames of these files that currently exist on your system. Example: go and change aiact.viv to aiact(bak).viv and change plays.dbf to plays(bak).dbf. By doing this you can always delete my files and go back to yours if you so wish.

Go To Load/Save
Load your roster which you added the files to above.

Fix Detail Settings
Start game and check these babies out!

Return to forum and give your opinion.

Will do as soon as I can. These are pretty demonstrative of what you can expect any given quarter. However, I will post a full game when I get a chance.

EDIT: First quarter of game against Golden State. More as I finish more.

At the Half:

After 3: Check out Baron's (PG) assists and overall shot distribution.

Full Game: Pretty sweet game.

The patch is way too easy. I led a team 31 - 6 at the first quarter. And how do I enable subs?

Why don't you post a screen shot of the CPU's stats, and did you change sliders? Are you playing on Superstar?

If you're wondering about the subs I'm guessing you either haven't got the unofficial patch or you didn't follow instructions and install all of the included files in the correct place. I highly doubt you got those results with these files.

What unofficial patch?

I installed everything to the correct location.

The CPU stats were

Camby had 2 pts. 1/12
Carmelo had 2 1/8
And Denver's no. had 2. 1/14

If you haven't heard of the patch I'm guessing you may not have put this together the right way. But, maybe you did. Install this and then try to extract all my files again.

Okay, i played one Quarter with Dallas against the Miami Heat, heres the result:

I think the PF has too much points!

But PG is a lot better and the shot distribution with the stars (for example Nowitzki) he doesn´t make all the shots.

Rebound and Steals i dont saw any bui changes.

Just make some small fixes and then the patch is great!

Looking at your stats I guess I have to be pretty proud. I mean, who do you think should be taking the majority of the shots for the Mavs. My files are making the players with the highest primacy put up the shots.

My suggestion, go to strategy and double Dirk and increase pressure on him.

All in all it looks like it's working well for you.

The more results I get the more I can figure out which sliders need to be tweaked and in what ways. (Y)

Obviously you couldn't get the BETA patch either, hence no subs. Keep in mind this patch may operate differently without the presence of the BETA patch being in place.

ps: my game is cracked...i had to put the original .exe to install then put the cracked .exe again... is this the problem ?

Oh, okay.

I guess I was thinking people would be posting just CPU stats here because that is really what this patch aims to do, fix the way the CPU plays against a human opponent.

Also, though, it looks like you got a nice game out of those stats! (Y)

reddcharliev, good job. Although, It looks like 3 pointers aren't dropping enough. There are also not enough fouls and turnovers/steals. That conclusion was made only after seeing two posted box scores.

Mine's cracked as well. You do know playing with the disk can mess up your drive right.

Thanks, Pdub. I am looking into increasing turnovers/steals and fouls and will post an updated set of settings when satisfied with increased results. However, I am hoping to get more results in the form of posted box scores. If ya could Pdub, try these out, I would really like to get input from more forum members.

Well, if that is the case then I'm willing to take my chances so that I can get the patches to make this game right. It is unfortunate it isn't working for No-cd people.

If it is messing up my drive then I guess I haven't seen it in all the versions of Live (since '96). Have always used the disc and have not had problems.

Wow I just played half a game, I couldn't take it. I liked the shot distribution but the aiact is horrible. So many unnecessary animations. At certain parts of the floor you couldn't use any FSS moves, the dunk button wouldn't even work, either.

1. Elimination of PG domination
2. A tough CPU opponent that is takes focus to beat.
3. Realistic shooting percentages.
4. Realistic rebound, assist, steal, block totals.
5. Realistic shot distribution (stars look to dominate and take majority of shots.
6. A realistic feeling game which is fun to play and gives you an NBA simulation.

are u sying players will have there own shots and stuff
