Thanks for the comments, I'm pretty pleased with the outcome myself too.
And yes flite_23, I'm making numbers, the real ones. I just couldn't be bothered to put them on there in the preview.
These previews are kind of a progress report for people who are interested, the jerseys that I preview are completely done (jersey files with custom numbers and a menu portrait).

If you finish this patch I will reinstall my NBA Live 06! This is gonna be a MONSTER patch! By the way, the Jerseys are simple AMAZING! The Connecticut one is INCREDIBLE!!

I know you said you had the jerseys under control, but this is my first jersey EVER made. It would be cool if you used it. I tried making custom numbers but fshline doesnt work on my computer. This is for my hometown Team Syracuse Orangemen.

Not bad for a first time. The flag is a little too big. The front collar part is messed up.

I think for this you should try to make cyberfaces to have some of the players look like their actual faces.

@hammertime23, I'd love you to make some cyberfaces, because I really have ALL the jerseys done since last year except some newly added teams. I just don't have them all imported into .fsh's, .viv's and .big's yet.

ps. I added you to my AIM, but I'm in Europe so we're not online at the same time much. I'll be gone this weekend too so I guess we'll have to try and speak each other later.

http://collegebasketball.rivals.com If you go to team news, pick a team, go to the college basketball roster, and select a player, then sometimes there is a good picture for portraits. Other good portrait sites are the school sites.

Hey guys, I really appreciate the work and it looks nice, but maybe you could make a seperate NCAA cyberfaces thread.
That'll keep this thread more organized (for myself too) and it'll make the whole cyberface side of the NCAA patch more organized as well. Don't get me wrong, the stuff does look nice. (Y)

Second progress report:

First of all, I'd like to tell you guys that the roster is done apart from the ratings, which will be obtained from College Hoops 2K7 hopefully. This means all the players are created and have correct info (height, weight, numbers, positions, not: bdates, bplaces).

I've been working on jerseys a little more too, but I don't have 5 teams done yet so no preview yet. I had 29 teams' .psd's left from last year that could be used again (and jersey numbers to go with them), but I'm updating with new textures and changes made for the new season. That's why they're not 'done' yet even though I said I had them all covered.

- 22 courts are done, I'm hoping I can get some more from the other NCAA project (Live 05)
- 4 of 8 different logos done for all teams.

I'll put up some new previews as soon as I have 5 sets done again. For the overall ratings in College Hoops 2K7, check this file (only the teams in the first post of this thread are included of course).

I hope you are still patient with me, this patch should be great. :wink:
