I'm re-releasing my Historical Rosters with some improvements and art files,
but in this version it's brand new 1996/97 season rosters..Enjoy!

Also included updated 91/92, 95/96 & 97/98 rosters without art..

1996/97 Rosters v1.0 (new)

features:

- 1996/97 opening night rosters
- stand-alone mod, won't overwrite current graphics
- logos, jerseys & courts
- accurate ratings
- real salaries, fictional contract lenghts
- players age and years experience adjusted for dynasty mode
- cyperfaces and portraits for many players
- destiny, learning and workethic adjusted for player development
- accurate coach and arena names
- school and draft info for every player
- speechid's for many players (most of the 06 speechid's didn't work)

known issues:

- schedule logos still need to be changed and a scoreboard for 96/97 season to be made, maybe retro NBA on TNT..
- hawks jerseys are not so good and jersey previews for hawks, cavs, sixers & kings are poor quality
put you have to live with that for now

install instructions:

1. extract the "HisRostersDVCv2.rar" to your desktop

2. place all files in the "saves" folder to your NBA Live 07 "saves" folder usually in located in "My Documents\NBA Live 07"

3. place all the files in the "sgsm" folder to your NBA Live 07\sgsm folder

i've included updated alternate roster files 91/92, 95/96, 96/97 & 97/98, in case you don't want to use any art files so they belong to "saves folder also

how about a 2000/01 or a 98/99 patch i think that would be better

no i have already started this..Knicks and Orlando completed, here is a little preview..I have portraits put as you can see, no cyperfaces ..so i had to create player faces with the ingame player editor..

Go ahead and use any cyberfaces and portraits from my classic teams addon from last year. I included a readme with a credits list ...just make sure you give the individual patchers credit .

It'd be awesome if we made an "Over the Years" patch where we start at like 98 and have some sort of .bat file that added the 99 rookies then the 2000 rookies the next years draft.

I'd kill for that. The only problem is stupid Bobcats. I guess in 5 years time, we could start with 2004 and add the 2005 draftees, then the 06 draftees etc.

I'd cream my pants.

Edit: Are you planning on releasing the complete sgsm files because a lot of player faces are missing

Just played a bulls heat match. Turned out Harper and Pippens faces were missing, i would imagine a few others as well. This got me thinking, imagine if we had all the jerseys and courts from the 97/98 season. Man that'd be cool. Good job though!

this patch doesn't work in dynasty mode when i load it i have 06/07 season it's only work in season mode.

this patch is ok though, some cyberfaces are missing, pippen, ron harper....

ok..i will include missing cf's in the next release..please tell me if you find more cf's missing..i have all cf's in my folder, but i've just been careless making the rar file

As for the dynasty mode..it works..the schedule is 06/07 not 97/98..bizon, do you experience some kind of an crash in dynasty??

I download this patch and extract. Put the rosters 97/98 in the save folder and overwrite sgsm on the same in nba live 2007 folder. In runing game i load this save and when i start new season in dynasty mode I haven't got 97/98 but 06/07. I haven't got the orginal game. I haven;t got any crashes witch this patch.

bizon..you don't have original game?? what do you mean?...there should be no crashes, the crash with draft that i experienced was just once..and has not happened since

next release (1.0) will feature:

- non-shiny cf's for every player (this will take some time, so the release date is now
unknown)

- missing cf's added

- some speech id's corrected

- 1997 east & west all-star teams (only if i can get rid of this f*cking bug that causes the game crash when you edit all-star teams)

- courts and jersey graphic files which i used in 06 (credits inc. in readme.txt)

Dynasty Mode works for me .
The draft works as well (after the first season).
Yeah a lot of the players are shiny, I tried adding the sweat alphas but the cyberfaces went black (well Jermaine O'Neals did ).

I didn't get to play 06's version so I'd imagine it to be the same, have you figured out a way to fix the dynasty schedule so it says 1997?

Once all the CF's are up this patch is 'Class'. Can't wait for an update.

ok..bad news ..my computer crashed and when it restarted, one of my raid drives was gone..and that drive contained all my nba live 07 files and other important files..fuck i'm pissed of right now, i have to start from the scratch..i was just finished converting the cf's and beginning to import them as 07 cf's..

best thing in all of this is that nba live 07 itself caused the computer to crash, i switched back to desktop and then it fucking crashed..i tried to restore the drive, but it only let me format..

When I load this patch and start new season in dynasty mode I have 06/07 season. I don't know why. Something possibly doesn't work.

I also appreciate your hard work tony maybe with my game is something wrong. Has anybody got the game from mininova and use this patch???

i have converted all cyperfaces and added realistic destiny, learning and workethic ratings for every player..i cannot change the schedule to 97/98..i'm on a vacation in Istanbul right now, so the rosters release date will be sunday 29/10
