NCAA Mod 2007 for Live 06 | -

Even though Live 07 is already out Live 06 ain't dead, at least not for me.
I'm going to try and complete a huge NCAA Live Mod, something I have been working on since december last year. Due to exams I didn't manage to complete the 2006 version in time (before the draft), but all the art I've made can still be used for this season. So a lot of teams already have their jerseys done and a couple have courts and logos as well.

I'm planning to include 45 schools, but that number is subject to change (the teams themselves, however, are not).

What I need help with:
I basically can't do it without help from this community.
First my main problem: ratings. I don't get to see a whole lot of college hoops since I'm overseas. I have a online subscription to college games broadcasted by ESPN, but that's it.

Besides that I can always use help with things like a shoe patch (giving the teams the right brands and colors), frontend art and maybe cyberfaces for the coaches and biggest college stars (they'll serve as prospect faces for NBA dynasties for Live 06 and 07 too).

What I'm going to make myself are the jerseys, the courts (a bunch were already made by KD), logos and the rosters other than ratings.

we all need to combine efforts to finish this because then we could have NCAA Live 06 and NBA Live 07 to play as separate games

you can source the school logos at wikipedia, they've got good png and gif files. ooops, i don't see stanford in your list.

Good to see some more responses coming than just c0nr4d's. I figure more interest will generate when/if I start posting screens and the mod get close to release.

@c0nr4d, thanks man, I'll look up which school it was and let you know, no hurry though.
@franmansr, since jersey patching is basically what I do, some cyberfaces would be super nice. Maybe you could make some coaches and some star players?
@chitovf, thanks, I haven't had problems finding logos but I'll keep wikipedia in mind. Stanford is not included, I do have the jerseys and some logos from last year however, if you're interested let me know.

Bigh0rt has some new formula to calculate ratings, it may be of some help to you.

Haha, no UC! Good thing my team is Xavier. This looks cool, I will follow this even though I don't have 06. Someone was making a mod like this for 05 but it was stopped for some reason.

I'm not sure if this is still going, c0nr4d told me that March Madness 07 isn't coming out until like February. And that's where I wanted to get the ratings from since I suck at them and no one can help on those.
I'm confident the art side of this mod could be finished but it's useless without ratings.

well kinda my boy bigh0rt has a new rating algorithim (sp?) that creates "optimized" ratings by looking at stats. Freshman out of high school would be an issue but if we wait until halfway through the season we can do it for sure.

The ratings should be no problem anymore, even though March Madness for EA isn't coming out until february. JaoSming told me he's planning to buy College Hoops 2k7, and is willing to get me the ratings I need from there.

i was gonna browse the 06 announcements section to gather files that would still work with 07 and i stumbled on this thread... and i must say, nice stuff ck... i'm not a big fan of ncaa since it's rarely shown here in our country, but i'm undoubtedly a big fan of big mods... knowing how much work and effort is being done by the author (in this case, you of course ) keep it up man... 1st previews looks sweet as well...
