Very nice try, but IMO it looks too much like they've been soaked in the rain. Maybe you can try reducing the number of sweat lines?

Did you add the sweat to the bhead itself? It appears you did, because these look as if they're missing the alpha.

Sorry if my comments were too harsh or anything... I actually really like the way it looks on Nowitzki, it's very realistically rendering water graphics. But I think there's just too much of it to be realistic sweating - poor guy looks completely drenched. :D

Yes, drop the brightness or whatever is making everything so darn shiny and then try a screen.

The default is 10x better than that one. As are at least 3 other releases down in 06 Announcements. You just happened to choose a poor one, that's all.

It's impossible to tell, due to the poor lighting. That's the point. Right now they look like pure shit, but I can't tell whether it's the face or just the lighting patch... I'm hoping/thinking it's the lighting... take that crappy lit5on5 out of your sgsm and post a pic.

Needs to be zoomed in much closer. Check some of the other CF previews in 07 announcements...

Something is wrong with the eyes, and the sweat effect just isn't doing it. Check out PDub's fspec files from 06 to see some examples of sweat alphas.

What about a pic from the Edit Player screen?
