I'll be semi-away for the next week or so. I'm moving in with my friends, but I won't have a computer at home at least for a weak or so (I managed to convince my parents to buy a laptop for themselves! Yay!), but I'll be checking the progress of the '2k8 for the PC' petition from my school's computers.

Good luck with the moving out of your parents' place and in with your friends. As long as it doesn't form a strain on the friendship, all should be well.

Moving on to me, I'm back. I can't say if it will be for long or for short, but I'm hoping it's for long opposed to short. Basically, I've had some time away, I've had some life changing things happen to me and I've received a new perspective on life. Hopefully that will also translate in to me being a better poster on the forums, a better member of the community, and a better person to my fellow non retards.

Good luck Fenix and welcome back Jackal.

I hope I'm one of your fellow non retards

Thanks for the welcome back, Jugs. Basically everyone is a non retard for the time being unless your name is Homer, Onyx or Lanky Man.

I'd like to think I've taught myself to be a little more laid back.

Thanks a lot, dude. With time passed, I realized how big part of the community you are and one of the rare intelligent people around here, so your presence was certainly missed. Welcome back and I hope your next retirement won't come in the near future.

Appreciate the kind words, you pretty much humble me. Let's not get carried away now.

I wasn't really retired, I just had a bad experience and was required to leave quite suddenly.

Oh no, he's not gone, he's just a lot more subdued. Events in the past couple of months have led me to realise how unimportant some things we stress ourselves about are quite unessential. We worry, curse, work our selves up for something someone across the world posted, when there are enough things and problems around us in real life with our families and our friends that will keep this miniscule brain of ours occupied, yet we convince ourselves we are "relaxing" and seeking refuge in an online community just to vent the frustrations of daily life.

Pointless, is it not?

Alright, now enough of my thread highjacking, I'll see each and every one of you guys around the forums. Once again, thanks for the welcome. :)

That or Jackal's spirit was finally broken down by the bugfest that is Live 07.

 Usually I'd jump at that offer, but since X compared you to Reggie, that's the mental image I've had of you in my head.

Not to mention the fact I don't swing that way...anymore.

That picture is a few years old, but at least you won't confuse me for the big eared alien from Southern Cali anymore.

Now can we make love?

That is quite an inviting pose, if you'd remove the smoke and all. I'm sure the few graphics editors would have a field day with that one. :P

But no, sorry, I don't fall for black & white guys...anymore.
