Nice, thanks :D

Those are alot of moves...and if overdone they will definitly turn the game into nba street. All that's missing is superstar freestyle dribbling.

Thu Sep 07, 2006 10:50 am

They should've atleast put a video in there

Sounds good. I could care less about how it sounds though, Live sounds good every year but we all know how it plays. I want to see gameplay on a TV, Broadcast style camera angle and read the review from Gamespot. Then I will think about getting this. Right now though, 2K7 is the game to get.

or on a fast break toss it to someone and go wild with the stick and see what move you pull off. :D

The FSS looks good and the "In the Zone" feature also looks as though it will be fun.

You know a lot of people debate Live vs. 2k7... And the main reason i choose live over 2k7 and im sure is the same reason most of you all choose it is it is just that, FUN

Features like these are what get me excited because i like the dramatics of it, I like being able to do special moves and get my players in the zone, its FUN

This is a video game right?

I mean we all want NBA Live to be more realistic but i think they are doing a good job in moving in that direction while still keeping it entertaining.. My main prob with 2k series in recent past was it was just boring to play plain and simple.

That artical was cool but my main complaint is POST MOVES... They really looked crappy, they basically eliminated a Inside Scorer and "Post Scorer" is really just a "Power" inside dunker from last year....

Thats crappy, so basically the only post move you can do is dunk!?!?!?

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Fri Sep 08, 2006 2:18 am

That's exactly what I was thinking, where on earth have the inside scorer moves gone :?

Fri Sep 08, 2006 3:48 am

YES! More FSS! Ignore the basics!

This is only for next gen - current gen still has both. I don't remember why there's no inside scorer on next gen

Fri Sep 08, 2006 4:23 pm

hey these moves are for only xbox360 or also for current-gen
lives?

Fri Sep 08, 2006 4:33 pm

eh I don't think it's too bad except for an "Eyes closed dunk" during the game. that would NEVER happen.

Fri Sep 08, 2006 4:44 pm

jamal magloire did like a 180 or 260 dunk while covering his eyes.... it was probably the most un co-ordinated thing i have ever seen

EDIT: Windmill layup????????? :?

Fri Sep 08, 2006 5:50 pm

hey these moves are for only xbox360 or also for current-gen
lives?

can anyone answer my question please?
it is so significant to me

Fri Sep 08, 2006 6:05 pm

I'm pretty sure that they are available on all platforms (I think limited on PSP). Possibly less moves availble on current gen though. The FSS controls are on a teired system with an extra level available on the next gen systems.

Fri Sep 08, 2006 8:16 pm

some of those dunks are way to unrealistic for a match-
Image

rock the cradle level 1? if u can dunk u can do that then?
through the legs, behind the back and closed eyes would never happen. :?

Fri Sep 08, 2006 10:43 pm

this is getting ridiculous....seriously, if I've got Dwayne Wade in the zone, I don't want him taking off from the FT line for a dunk....it's ridiculous....save it for the Dunk Contest or NBA Jam....the dunks definitely look overdone....by the sounds of 'in the zone', I'd prefer X Factor of current gen....if I do end up getting Live for 360, which is a big if at the moment, then I'll likely not even use FSS abilities....it really annoys me as a 360 owner that they haven't first worried about putting a stable game on the market before adding all these unnecessary abilities....they're trying to run before they can walk, or at least that's what it seems like to me....I hope I'm wrong though, I really do :|

Fri Sep 08, 2006 11:38 pm

if i were you, i would take 2k7... i think EA are going way over the top, but in the complete wrong direction. i would take a no frills game that had no dunk contest and all that and just basic dunks ahead of 07 if it had nice, solid, crisp and most of all realistic gameplay. I thought it sucked that in 06 Yao Ming played like allen iverson or something, but i swear to god if i see yao try a windmill LAYUP, i am probably gonna kill someone

Fri Sep 08, 2006 11:44 pm

Flite, I will be getting 2k7, that is a given....I just wanted to see if Live 07 could bring the franchise that I loved so much back to life....I'll wait for reviews & read all of them....if they're good, I'll give it a look & if I don't like it, I'll return it....

i couldn't tell you guyz i think

total freestyle control moves are for just xbox360 or for other
platforms also especially pc ?

and if not for pc which ones are for pc?

Sat Sep 09, 2006 12:26 pm

Total Freestyle Control is a feature on all platforms though not all the moves are the same. Additionally, Current Gen and PSP don't have "In the Zone" but instead have the "X-Factor" feature.
