Why is it choppy looking? The animations look weird, unnatural.

I'm a little disappointed..

thats not new.........but anyways, i think the reason the passing is like that is because, the people who are playing the game is not use to the new pressure passing system....just a theory

The gameplay for current gen is better than the next gen in my opinion, at least right now.

You could say the same thing about the nba live animations since 2000.

There's a different video with the Spurs and Nuggets that's for 360. The PSP one is different

Man, just comparing the two games--there is a big difference in "smoothness".

I might have to rent Live 07 this year. I've been slowly losing interest in the Live series. It just seems EA does not want to put the best possible game out for us.

I can wait to pass judgement but I haven't been happy with the series since 2005.

Jing, whatsup bro. Hope everything is good.

I've never been bothered by the skating, sliding, or whatever else you want to call it.

I find that strange cause thats the first thing i noticed in live 06 (current gen).
This game just looks bad and that sliding is the worst part too me,and why is it that when they go for dunks they seem to move so fast in the air not even given the defender a chance to block.......gay.

the dribbling looks horrible also.

^^ I agree. So far, in next gen videos I have seen, the 'foot planting' might affect how a player reacts to certain situations like planting for a jumpshot or changing direction......... but there is still definately sliding along the ground...... and it looks bad.

And yeah, the 'fast-motion' dunks i noticed as well, that looks crap. And there is a wierd dribble action where the player magicaly switches hand mid dribble.

Although I'm getting Live for PC regardless, if I owned a 360, I would definately be giving 2k7 a serious look for the first time in a while.

its sad. live used to be a great game. that brings me back the thought that they should release live each 2 years... start from scratch... again... until they get it right

me too, ever since 05, i've been losing interest in the live. i didn't even begin a dynasty for the first time in 06............. i only play pc games so i don't have any other options than live but it looks like nba 2k7 is way better as of right now....

I have the gamecube version of 06, and the dunks are fine in that. I've played both ps2 and GC version, and I think the game plays better on GC, maybe its cause I'm used to the GC version

06 was better than 05 I think. . .in 05 the animation took over the player which led to slower reacting to get a steal or even a block sometimes. in 06 if you play smart, everything is great with the game. and the blocking was toned down in 06 also. Although some people played stupid against me and Jermaine O'neal had like 10 blocks. . [/quote]
