HI. PC OR XBOX

Sun Aug 27, 2006 3:47 pm

SHOULD I GET THE GAME FOR PC OR XBOX?

PC BECAUSE of the patches. (graphic card ....... iffy iffy)

Xbox because of the graphics

Sun Aug 27, 2006 7:50 pm

you mean xbox the orig right? then PC all the way baby!

Sun Aug 27, 2006 8:19 pm

About the graphs, PC ver. is better than Xbox ver. or not?? :?

Sun Aug 27, 2006 8:22 pm

pc cuz u can patch the game unlike xbox unless i am wrong

If I were you and had a controller for your PC with two analog sticks, then I'd go for the PC because of the patchability (which isn't just limited to graphics, but rosters and other stuff like that too). Only if you play the XBox a lot and would really enjoy the better graphics (and wouldn't mind not patching it at all) then I'd consider the XBox version.. But then again, it's all up to what you feel like. Don't do something you don't feel like doing just because some people on an internet board say so.

if your PC can handle hi res and filtering like AA and AF, then go for PC...

esp if yove got a 6600 or better video card

Mon Aug 28, 2006 2:33 am

if your pc supports hdtv/tv out then even beter. But the xbox version has better online

Mon Aug 28, 2006 7:31 am

Should I get something higher than 6600? How much would it cost?

I mean the XBOX 360  . I played it last year: wasnt all that impressive: overhyped.

I played PC online and I really liked it. XBOX wasn't that impressive, but i could l

ive with it

And I don't have a controller

Mon Aug 28, 2006 10:41 am

u should get a xbox 360 controller to use with pc

Mon Aug 28, 2006 10:47 am

My sentiments exactly. Aside from the pros and cons of both platforms, you have to consider which system you truly prefer for playing video games.

Mon Aug 28, 2006 11:58 am

I have a number of games on both

I've played live on Xbox AND PC since 2002 with Francis

Mon Aug 28, 2006 1:35 pm

so which did you enjoy more?

Tue Aug 29, 2006 8:17 am

It's really Hard to say

I've liked PC 4 a while but I've played Xbox 4 a while as well

I had a fun time ONLINE with the PC but I want to see if the 360 is really worth it because I played a demo at some place my friend took me in L.A. and it was very very interesting

I always prefer console versions for all games, because you can play in a sofa with some friends, and you won't have problems with graphics thing, because they most of the times are at the max specs for your console and then they work well.

I have Madden 06 for PC and it's cool, but... How the hell can I set my default controlers ? I mean, I make a controllers configuration for my USER/PROFILE but for example in superstar mode or in training camps its back to the default ones. Can anyone help me in this thread ?

(Sorry about changing of topic)

I'm getting it for PC

I love XBOX BUT I love PATCHING more and downloading the patches. Even tho it's alot of work, I'll still get it for PC.

Besides, XBOX and 360 cost too much

$70 for 360? HELL NO (N)

Wed Sep 06, 2006 5:42 pm

id go xbox but thats just me

Wed Sep 06, 2006 5:56 pm

you've obviously already made up your mind, but the 360 is meant to have a couple of cool features that the pc version wont and dont forget those graphics.
anyway either way, but i never play on pc

If Xbox old then PC
If Xbox 360 then Xbox

PC beats current gen hands down in graphics(if you have a decent graphics card)
PC can match next gen stuff, but would require a Top End PC, and games the utilize it. As for Live07, what I understand is that even if you do have a super high end rig, the PC version is still watered down and will be given the graphics and features more similar to current gen machines.

But if you LOVE patching your stuff, then this disscussion really is pointless, PC!

Sun Sep 10, 2006 10:32 am

how would a pc with say a nvidia geforce 7800 match up as far as graphic quality to xbox 360?

Mon Sep 11, 2006 2:36 pm

Probly the same or better. I have a XFX GeForce 7800GT and I can run games like FARCRY,Call of Duty 2 and the Doom 3 demo on full graphics and only FARCRY and CoD 2 where the only ones to show signs of slowing down. But I also have 3 gigs of ram. NBA Live 06 probly takes like 3-5 seconds to load. When Direct X 10 comes out the PC will blow the "next gen" consoles completely out of the water.
