It certainly won't be any worse. I thought NBA Live 06 on max detail looked better on the PC than the console versions so I assume NBA Live 07 will be the same.

Yeah, Andrew has a point here... The PC picture will always look more sharp and crisp than any of the current consoles on high settings. Its only a matter of the resolution. You can get a sharper image with a PC than you can get with any HDTV...

And that is a fact!

i heard that xbox360 is only compared to a medium rated pc. i dont know what that means, but he say a graphic card like 7600GT already beat the xbox360.
i think dual core + direct x10 + 1gig ram + 7600gt can definitely run a next gen 07

But what about a fact that it's really close to release date (a little bit more than a month) and EA still haven't posted any PC screenshots? We only have a bunch of next-gen gameplay pics, some PS2 and Xbox but no PC screenshots whatsoever. Why?

I'm very happy, that PC is gurrent gen this year, PC-s are powerfull, but 2/3 of the PC players don't have the PC to play next gen, so it would be absurd to make PC next gen this year!

PS. don't understand me wrong, I have the computer to play next gen, last year i bought on of the powerfull computer on sale in Estonia! I just talk about the others!

And next gen is so young tech, that it has probable more buggs than gurrent gen. Next year next gen is more perfect than now, and then more people have more powerfull PC-s + PS2 and XBOX is 1 year older!

So please don't cry over that and be happy 07 is quite perfect on PC- to, least the andrew's report tells that (Y)

Yeah, that's quite obvious but I wasn't talking about the looks. My point was - lack of screenshots could mean that the developement of PC version is not going as smoothly as planned and we can suffer from delays.

no..a 7600GT cant beat an xbox 360..its a totally different architecture..it takes a 7900gtx to at least be at par with the x360 or so ive read..

re: 2/3 of pcgamers not packing enough tower in their rigs...well, how come games such as FFEAR and BF2 gets so much attention..and remeber oblivion, and how many gamers upgraded just to play oblivion..if NBA07 will be next gen, then im pretty sure some of those among the 2/3 will upgrade to play 07...if its worth it, people will upgrade..if you still stuck on that fx5200..then dont play at all...

@wicked waway

im tired of your s*** comparing your high end pc to those low end pc users.....we all know that you have high end rigs,dont slap it to our faces,we get it...dont be a "HUMBOG"..your making us PINOY bad....not all people can upgrade thier pc rigs just like that even though it worth playing those cool looking games like you mentioned and not all of us have money to buy those expensive hardware....

and another thing...if cant face the fact that NBA live 07 on PC is on current-gen graphics and not on next-gen.....then dont play at all...

I'm not so optimistic remembering delays of many previous NBA Live titles for PC and knowing that PC version is not a priority for EA.

is my PC even high end?lols read my sig, it dont even make the cut for most games kabayan....my point was only that most gamers upgrade their rig to meet the demands of most games.....coz they love their games and they are gamers...those who dont arent that much of a gamer..(im not saying this as a derogatory statement for those with low end PCs, what i mean is most of those who got low end PCs are casual gamers who arent that passionate about PC gaming..sure they play PC games but most probably, they do it once a week or when they just feel like they like to)

@wicked waway

so why are you saying "if you still stuck on that fx5200..then dont play at all"...???
that's not a cool way to say to us hardcore gamers with low end pc....its not our fault that we cannot afford to upgrade our pc and its not our fault that live 07 on pc dosen't
have the graphic that the 360 version have... :( :( :(

im a hardcore gamer (hindi na nga ako mkapagstudy) and i would really like to play those new cool game with very high requirments,pro tol ala tlga akong mgawa,we don't have the cash to buy those expensive hardware,but im trying and im planning to buy a Gecube 9550gt,and that's the only thing i can afford...... :cry: :cry: :cry:

sorry sa last post tol..... :( :( :(

ok so my bad re: fx5200 bash..(asaran kasi namin yun magkakaibigan)
plus i'm quick to assume that many gamers are willing to shell out for gaming..(imagine at guru3d, one guy was asking what card to buy...and he already had a 7900gt!)

my point was (and yes i apologize if i may hurt others with this) that its frustrating that NBA live cannot be developed to its full potential for the PC coz EA tries to cater to the widest market they can...

so ill change that to ..if youre stuck with an mx400, then dont play at all..fair enough? lols

biamax28 wrote: hardware,but im trying and im planning to buy a Gecube 9550gt,

may i suggest a 6600 or 6600GT instead? ive had a gecube 9550ee and, though it ws good during its time, it wont make the cut for most games nowadays..so its basically a bad investment (well sort of)

Yeah I read about it na that Current Gen yung PC and that is the sad news so I think EA wants us to buy Xbox360 or a PS3..Im just wondering pare why EA dont include PC for the next gen!Bad trip!!!So this is to say that we are going to play Live for Current Gen only which is sad that all the news about Live is in Next gen di ba?Hayy well thats okay maybe next year.. :!:

No delays are anticipated. I think you're reading a little too much into the lack of PC-specific screens. ;)

i dont think that i can afford that kind vcard at this time...my allowance can only afford a 3.2k 9550gt...but if you can hook me up w/ a 6600 w/ a price range of 3.2k - 4k only....heheheh(meron bng ngbebenta sa dvo sale???) :lol: :lol:
