My five year frachise destroyed (???)

I just ifnished my franchise yesterday. I saved it, and used the Toolkit to make some changes to the rosters as always, making the rookies better, etc. etc.
Since then, whenever I open the folder for the Load/Save, the game completely closes. I am sure it is this file that is messing up the load/save, because when i moved this file from the saves folder on the hard drive, the game is ok when I get to Load/Save.
Has anyone had this problem before? If so, is there anything I can do to save this file? Are there any files I could copy or move aroun to get it to work? I tried to re-install.

It sounds as though you've lost your Franchise. When editing the DBF files using the Toolkit or a DBF editor you should always make a backup in case problems occur.
