New videos of NBA Live 07 at Gamespot. 7/24/06

Live on XBox360 is the best sim Ive ever played, and if EA really wanted to make it more arcade-ish then why go through all the trouble of toning down the superstar abilities. Thats why Live has an arcade option and a sim option.

Ive baught both games every year and both have their faults. Live just has less of them. Live is more fluid and i feel like I have more control over the player. 2k has a shot stick and they reformed their isomotion to make it more like lives and it still aint right. But I havent baught 2k6 for 360 so Im probably missing out on something and it aint fair but even when I got live on the old xbox I thought it was the better game.

Exactly, 2K is the most unresponsive and predetermined game ive ever played,its just so stiff and it does not flow well...and to koberulez, i do play Simulation...these are my stats in my dynasty.I play 12minutes and i use my own sliders

i scored about 106ppg on 47% shooting and 36% from 3 point
I allowed CPU about 98ppg on 45% shooting and about 41% from 3 point..Please tell me how thats so arcady..I went 62-20 in my dynasty and the Mavs(met them in the finals) took me to a game 7 before i won the championship

Whenever i played Pacers,Spurs,Pistons,Rockets,Mavs the game always came down to a last second shot. I was very pleased with Live06,the game was really good and like i been saying,if mfers would stop pulling the L trigger and actually use the playbook Live06 incorporated in this game,they'll see why live06 was the best game EA made to date.

lo.. did anybody saw an non-dunk basket.. if this is what they say isnt a dunkfest i wonder what is There are some really impossible 360, windmill dunks, that are rarelly seen in real nba even on fastbreaks, in nba live such dunks seem to be the regular ones.. disappointing video,, still looking forward to some dinasty stuff and espn.. i just hope that we dont go back to the time when you could do those fireball dunks, making mortals on the air and that stuff..

I don't care if dunks are cool always if they're done in the proper situations. I wouldn't mind to see some between the legs, 360's and all that stuff, but not in traffic. I just hope gameplay can be ... playable.

what sliders do you play on?? can you tell me please?? because i dont really like 2k either and i would rather play live than 2k...because i can easily score points on 2k without the freestyle superstars than i can do on live with the freestyle superstars

You cant have the adjusted shot that low for the pc, if the computer never takes an adjusted it wont try to create, And if you watch the nba you know that there has to be some creativity, you cant just take the spot up shot, good looks like those rarely happen and the computer will just drive to the paint all the time. You gotta give the computer the ability to fadeaway or take a leaning jumpshot.
