Win 98/ME: Only there problems?

Postby Dr. Phibes on Mon Nov 25, 2002 7:40 pm

Hi,

I have to wait some days to get my new PC, so I played the Demo of NBA2003 on my old PC mit WinME. This Demo is slow, good playing is not possible. I read, this should be a Win98/ME problem. My new PC will have WinXP. Are any problems known about NBA2003 on XP?

Best regards
Doc

I tried to run NBA 2k3 on my cousins PC, but it didn't work. Then i realised that he didn't have a 3d card, hehe.

I have Win98 and I must admit that it's a lil choppy there. If XP runs it "as smooth as silk", then I might look into that.

But I was wondering, does anyone have NBA 2k3 running with Win 2000 Server? I know you need Service Pack 3 or higher to run it, but is it as smooth and most importantly, can it actually run in Win 2000?

Any response would be great.

Cheers.

i run the game on an amd athlon 2000+, 256 ddr ram, geforce2 mx400 & myoperating system in win98....it runs sweet....now & then there is a tiny bit of chop...mainly on loading...ut 95% of the game is sweet...so i dont think you can flat out say that 98 can't run it... :)

The 9x issues all stem from USB...which is why disabling USB gets rid of the choppiness problem...
