I'm back, no more out of town trips for me the rest of the summer. I'm tired as hell and I'm ready to stay at home from here on out.

I didn't wanna create a whole new thread so I'll use this sticky. Kinda off topic but:

I have some friends of mine who are planning on travelling to Australia, 5 in all (guys and girls).

Since the NLSC is full of Australians I thought I could ask some of you for some tips on what the best places to visit in Australia are cause my buddies are pretty clueless just like I am as to what and what Australia have got to offer.

If someone could tell me some good places to visit, stuff about the city and places to avoid I'd really appreciate it. (y)

Where abouts in Australia are they going? This country is huge.

I would suggest getting out to some sports events for games you guys don't have in the USA. AFL, rugby league etc, it's somewhat of an experience.

Otherwise they should just do the typical tourist things... Sydney has the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and Kings Cross... Melbourne has trams and alot of Greeks, Adelaide looks great and is easy to get around, Queensland has ALOT of theme parks and other things, Perth has um... so yeah I'd suggest Queensland as the place to go.

They were leaning on Sydney or Melbourne cause one of them has friends (exchange students) there.

Their looking for more of the whole 'lay a foreign chick' type of thing, not seeing the sites. I'm not sure about going to sports events, unless it's Soccer or B-Ball it would be pointless and even Soccer would suck cause none of them are fans.

Do you have any good theme parks or ball parks over there? Bar's? Cafe's?

 that's definitely not going to happen in Melbourne, they might get lucky in Sydney but 9 times out of 10 the "woman" will actually be a man. They'd be best off going to England to be honest.

Melbourne has alot of good bars/cafe's... Sydney has better nightclubs but neither has any good theme parks. Brisbane is full of theme parks, they'd probably have more luck with the girls there too come to think of it.

 tell me about it. they even knocked down the entertainment centre, so the wildcats are stuck in a 2-seat stadium and the WWE have nowhere to go when they come here.

That's the list of importance when it comes to going to clubs and trying to get laid here. Being American would probably knock that down a few places to be fair

Yea, the other day I was reading random Aussie stuff and read an article about Sydney being a world-renowned gay city (loaded with drag queens). Quite frightening when I read on it said its second largest to San Fran.

So yeah, watch your poop chute down under.

Bitches are all the same everywhere. But are girls there picky over race? cause two of my friends are black and ones Italian-Asian.

I heard Australia is full of homo's, but not drag queens. :shake: The reason why I didn't wanna come to Australia is cause I can't understand that accent I'm clueless as to what the Croc Hunter says most of the time I might aswell go to Japan.
