i still dont like the fact that everytime a player go the ball within 2 metres of the hoop they'd pull off some huge 360 dunk or whatever
and how he said you can just pick it up and play, i'd prefer it not be like that-with more controller depth etc.

The camera views of the gameplay looked awesome in those videos. This blows away the ign gameplay videos. I am hyped about 07 after seeing those interviews and the gameplay snippets.

The new animations look really good, the new dunks look awesome. Anyone catch that baseline 2-handed reverse dunk that Wade did in the movie? Taken straight from Iguodala.
Anyway, the one thing I didn't like about the dunks was the rediculous dunks in traffic, but hopefully thats because the guy playing(if there was one) was using High Flyer control in traffic. But I didn't like seeing T-Mac do a 360 windmill (VC style) with 2 people around him.
This looks real interesting, I'm gonna have to buy it lol.

I'm just tired of the same crap with a couple new animations and mechanics on current gen. Therefore i'm really not impressed, i need to be able to play the nex-gen version on pc to be satisfied. I can just imagine it with the ability to patch....
It's obvious that won't happen though.

Man... exactly what I thought when I saw the videos. Plus, it's interesting to see how they're gonna put everything on the right analog stick. Passing, dunking, shooting, and freestyling. Which doesn't bode well for keyboard fans

Well, they have alot of new dunk animations and alot of more around the head and back passes....

I like what I see besides the graphics but far as gameplay I would like to see two people who can play to see if its really balanced out. I have one question how do you shoot jumpers? Two buttons for layups and dunks then he say FSS moves on the right analog im confused.

did any1 else see the other video, that wasnt the interview.....its from next gen.....they have t-mac jumper lock down, it looks just like is form.....not so good for d-wade though.....

Those are some nice videos. im getting this game for sure, i also like the starting line-up thing i was waiting for that for a long time.

and is the espn thing just for online or not. and you guyz see that screen behind the tv i think that was fifa 07 lol

I think Live needs to take out all of those 360 dunks and windmills. Put regular game dunks!! No one pulls off that shit in traffic. I hope next-gen isn't like that. . Have some simple dunks, and give players like Vince the option to do all those dunks!! That's my only beef with the game!!

But ea copied 2k's idea of moving all shooting and everything to the right analog stick and even the free throw mechanic seems exactly the same!
Who knows? They just might innovate it and take it a step further. So far, the best idea that they have is the momentum feature which is being added to almost all ea sport games.

Hey, but shooting/dunking with RAS is with superstars only ?

2K copied EA first. Isomotion was a copy of freestyle control, but they innovated it later by using the right analog for shots. Now EA is doing the copycatting, and we will have to wait and see how they make it different from the 2k series.
Did anyone notice the lack of inside defensive presence during the gameplay portions of the interviews and the gameinformer gameplay video? That bothers me. It looks like the defense isn't getting back very quickly.
