The OFFICIAL "Rate my lineup!" thread.

Postby Donatello on Wed Jun 28, 2006 3:57 am

The new hot trend here seems to be posting your dynasty lineup wanting people to give their feedback, etc. So... how about we just do it in one thread? :D

Go for it.

Any additional new threads made on the subject will be locked/deleted.

I'm going to go ahead and sticky this- if that's a bad idea Andrew or whoever, sorry- just unsticky it :D

Why would it not include the bench? Yes, it includes the bench.

thank goodness a mod made one, last time i tried making one of these "official" rate my lineup/team threads, it failed miserably. Anyways, i have a question that doesnt merit a new thread, so might as well ask it in this thread since its about lineups. How well does Josh Howard play as a shooting guard in the game? Also, what's Josh Howard's peak in the game? I want to sign him in the offseason and want to be prepared to know to know what production to expect out of him.

SF Iguodala
SG Steven Jackson
PG Iverson

SG Korver
PG L.Garnet Drafted Rookie
PF S.Bondra Drafted Rookie

well lets see i give it about 79-83 ish
i mean u got 1 1/2 good low post presence ( havent seen dalembert go to work)
u have Iguodala who can rank up some major scores
And Stephen jackson who can hit u're shots
and Ai who can just score and throw out some assist

Bench is pretty solid
but i think u may have to lose Ollie since he is gettin old
and Korver to come off to spark u're bench
but other than that i give it .. 79-83

BlueHornet, solid lineup and not stacked. And bench is good with some potential.
Mofo, Howard is really good in the game, I didn't try to place him at SG, but I'm pretty sure he will play well here.

Well I don't like Devin Harris in reality but in the game, he always gets a shot and a foul. Gerald Wallace was the best option for my dynasty. Josh Smith wasn't my taste. I traded most of my old dudes except Shawn Marion.
And WOW on the Miami Heat line-up. Did you make Morrison and Reddick yourself?

Hell Yea. You jump like near or over the backboard and you can still block them. It's pretty easy to steal though and there's always hotspots to get back in the game.

Postby newcomp30 on Thu Jul 13, 2006 2:23 pm

started as denver nuggets

camby
Martin
Melo
Lenard
Miller

Trades Andre Miller and Marcus Camby for Baron Davis. New line up is:

nene
martin
melo
lenard
davis

Then traded Davis (90) for kobe (95), Lakers needed a PG. New line up:

Nene ---> Developing Center, good shot blocking
Martrin ---> Low post presence POWER on offense
Melo ---> Great shooter well its melo.. lol
Kobe ---> Great everytthing including defense
Earl boykins ---> Quick, fast pg. Can knock down the open jumper.

Please reply with and suggestions to make this team better. Thanks

Without cheating, I started with the Hornets, won the past two championships and am in the 4th year (08-09)

Yao (5 years left) @ a 92 rating
Bosh (5 years left) @ 92
Lebron James (2 years left) @ 99
Ben Gordon (6 years left) @ 83 (91 FG, 88 3PT WTF!!?!)
Chris Paul (1 year left) @ 83

I will trade Gordon away at the trade deadline (to max my wins and max the chances of getting a good first round pick by seeing what teams suck by then), because Paul will no doubt ask for more money (1.12 M cap left). This team is unbeatable - I simmed and intervened in only two games, and went 29-0.... O_o

se the problem i have wit the denver roster is tradin b ron davis for kobe, baron is like 2 0r 3 years younger and still has more potential of being a better player, you dont need kobe because there are still alot of good shooting guards out there you could get webster, and some others that i cant think of at the moment. Shooting guard is the easiest thing to get outta the game, that can be made into a good player
