Salary Cap Bug?

I started a dynasty with fantasy draft, I'm clearly under the cap, with around 15 million to spend. When I try to sign Milicic for 1.82 mil it says that I have no cap space. I tried trades as well, and still, it says I have no cap space. What's wrong with my dynasty? Could it have been messed up when I used the NBA Live 06 Editor?

That does seem to happen sometimes. Try advancing to the next day and then make him another offer. You can also try offering more money or the same contract without backloading the deal so he's being paid in even amounts, as the game sometimes seems to respond with the wrong PDA message.

It was a fantasy draft, I wanted the cap flexibility.
