I know you say EA browses our forums occasionally, but do you get a conformation that they look at our entire wishlist every year?

they probably look at it, and then laugh, look at it again, laugh more, and then go into a meeting and say, "they want better graphics and more highlight dunks". I cant see EA actually trying to make good AI, because if they actually try to make good AI they really suck at it.

With one of the producers being the founder of this site, I'm pretty sure they do look at the wishlist we send them and do browse these forums from time to time...

Andrew has even had some Q&A sessions with the crew in earlier years so its not like these boards are just another NBA Live fan site. I think it was the forum that got Tim his job as Live producer or helped him get the job. Due to all the mods and updates and good ideas for the future of the game.

Of course, we can never be sure that they do read the wishlist, but there are things in the game that have been submitted in the wishlists over the years... The bigger wishes take a couple of years to get implemented since its not so easy to tag on a "team chemistry" thing or something to that extent into a half done game. Smaller things do get implemented quicker.

I really just hope that they give Dynasty some extra attention so we can honestly call it Dynasty again...

I'm definitely ready to hear more stuff about the improved dynasty mode. Other than gameplay, dynasty mode is the most important thing to me. I could care less about all the All-Star Weekend stuff, but I guess a lot of people love that.

I just want great gameplay and a deep dynasty.

i would be more hyped to buy the game if they worked all year on just the AI, to make it very realistic, rather then updating graphics, and modes. I dont want another game where anyone can get 3 blocks per game, or where post players shoot behind the backboard 40% of the time, and when a team is down 3 with one shot left in the fourth, they throw it in the post to their big man for a 2, or give the last shot to the suckiest player on the court.

Professional opinion inquiry: What do you really think 'deeper than ever' dynasty mode means?

No, it was NBA Live 2004. It didn't return in NBA Live 2005 or NBA Live 06 though.

I'm hesitant to speculate on what it means at this point as I could be setting myself up for disappointment, but my first impression was that some of the little things we've been asking for every year have been added and that existing features have been beefed up a bit with a bit more depth (much more to free agent negotiations, for example).

I hope it's not so linear... having to use the try-reload dynasty-try-reload dynasty routine to get a deal done at the dealine is kind of annoying.

But why am I posting Videos of NHL 07? It shares the same graphics engine as NBA Live and in those videos you can see Real Time Shadows and Facial Expression during the game, not only in cut scenes.


Posting that cause those are two of my major gripes with NBA Live lately considering past years they had both of those features.

hmmm...i wonder how much deeper Dynasty mode is. I hope they add the MLE, and trading of draft picks (because the current system doesn't work)

I figured that's what you meant, but NBA Live 2004 is actually the only Live so far to feature the Dynasty Ticker.

The features look good. . but i'm really hoping for FLUID gameplay. . with the 360 rotation, the models should look and play like real people. and the animations should be on point!! If this is done how it should be, I'll worry about these dynasty features!! That's how I take it anyways

I wouldnt mind them adding cameos like in Madden. It would be a nice touch. Plus, add like a rewards system like they have now, but you can buy little clips of the greatest plays or awesome dunks or something memorable like that. All these dynast ideas are great, keep it coming!

1. Better camera views
2. Head coaches impact in their respective team.
3. Player tendencies and....
4. better GAMEPLAY!

In addition to that we need:

- Ability to trade draft picks at the Nba Lottery.
- 3-way trades, blockbuster tradeSSS !!! come on EA this is happening in a daily basis in the NBA so if you miss this one then you're sunk!

I just hope that Dynasty mode is improved. Was OK this year, but how could you not trade away someone like LeBron for a first round pick is just silly. I love all the ins and outs of managing my team and other EA titles give you that so it's not like it's too difficult for them to incorporate. Maybe they add little bits and pieces every year so that by NBA 2050 we may have a game we're all happy with.

The ESPN integration in NFL Head Coach looks pretty good so Im having high hopes
