Lockups!

Anyone having trouble with this game locking up? It locks up on me at different time into the game, sometimes even in the menu screens, i've tried two different vid cards, with latest drivers for each (ati radeon 8500LE) (Gforce4 Ti 4200), with the same results in the game locking up on me. any ideas will be appreciated.
