What exactly is the similiarity? It's either a bunch of seperate threads with guys posting anything they find even remotely funny, or posting it in this thread. I don't think there was any particular need for the Random knowledge thread or whatever it was called.

The similarity is that most posts come from only one source, these "funny" videos come from youtube.com, as the posts for that Random Knowledge thread comes from Wikipedia.
I do get your point though, and this thread does have different posters contributing rather than just one poster, as shown in that Random Knowledge thread.
