NBA Live game modes like Madden

Wouldnt it be a whole lot easier to make it like madden. The gameplay is so quick and the offseason is 100 times better than Live. I think that they need to team up with some of the Madden creators and make something happen in Live.

I'd love the game to be on par with madden. Oh wait, we have nba2k6 for that . nah seriously, two totally different sports. but thats no excuses, live should be on maddens level.

Gameplay? Well, it's two different sports so no, I don't think they should adopt Madden's gameplay. From what I've seen of Madden's Dynasty mode though I agree they should adopt the same approach for NBA Live and strive to make it as deep.

It would be nice to have all the modes and things that madden has.Its not that important probably it would be a better idea to have a team of experts that would have the focus on all of the games only in gameplay.

Have you guys seem Madden's 07 features? Expanding the Superstar Mode now there is a Hall of FAme type of mode or something where you're locked as the player you choose at the beginning... there is also certain type of roles you can unlock depending on your style of play and your performance Wowww say you're a shutdown corner then you will get this label on your that player profile and well this label will have certain effect on your team and your opposite team. GREAT!
Also there is a whole new draft system I LOVE MADDEN! I can't wait!

Yeah, I read all the stuff on IGN. You can run the 40m sprint and recover from an injury with weights etc. It sounds awesome.

I would love the Superstar Mode in NBA Live and also the ability to really practice with your players.

EDIT: And yeah I also'd like the fighting. Sometimes when a player makes every shot no matter how hard I contest him, or if they get so many offensive boards. I woul loooove to knock'em out.

i think that, like ,madden did, they need to increase rookie ratings up so that the first draft pick should be high 70's and go down from there, with the rare 80 talents...also from the madden franchise i think they should develop a mini-camp with games to play to increse blocking 3pt's stealing, ball handling, etc.... like have a player do a 3 pt.shootout with himself, and if u get a certain number, u get a certain amount of attributes to add to that players ratings, or put them on the line and increase the difficulty. Because with the current system the player has no control over what attributes go where. I also think they need player development throughout the season, like madden. If a player drains a bunch of threes in a month his 3 pt should go up, he misses alot it should go down...but only a little, like madden. like have a player progress every month, for better or worse.

nba 2k6 has most of that, id love to see that stuff in live too

The players do develop monthly and during the season... I don't think that it has any relevancy towards how they have played during the past month or so...

But they are "training" all the time... You can add more specific training to a single player at one time... And thus control the advancement a little bit, but the guy with 90 in stealing and 50 in defensive awereness doesn't need higher stealing... How about getting some D-awereness upping...

So I'm all for it...

That would be a great improvement, to actually focus on the weaker areas within the three main areas of training making things much less random whereas now we have to pick a broad area for a player to be trained/developed in and entrust the right areas will see improvement to chance.

madden is so far beyond live its not even funny. every year live just keep adding things that imo are not needed. i could have done without freestyle moves for a deeper dynasty mode.

Players and coaches should effect one another and the other stuff and options that they have in real life should be in the game...

There's a thing called a budget for a team and they only have that amount of cash for player salary... Which is needed so you can't just load up on super-stars with 7-8 players with 15 million salaries...

The players like and dislike each other... The players like their roles or dislike them... The coaches get better response from some players than others.

There's a thing called chemistry that is extremely important in a game of Basket Ball... The team needs to be a factor... The coach should effect all these things, as we should have a coach.

I've tossed around ideas on this on so many occations that I'm tired of it... Get the clue...

Have you guys seeing the Madden 07 screenshoots? damn!!!! so far I've seem pictures of guys lifting weights (I guess this is the scouting report or something about the draft), now i'm seeing another one with agent negotiations with categories like: negotiations, influence impact, interviews, endorsements, performance institute.... it also shows all kinda of player's game stats like tackles, sacks, pass deflections, interceptions, interceptions TDS, and also something about the player's influence rating, a hall of fame where it shows all the inductees and year of induction and also some movie clips about some of these players.

FUCK ! I'm for sure gonna buy this game

I'm wondering if both game have the same budget? Who knows maybe the madden series has a lot of sponsors backing them up that's why they can create a great game. In live i don't know...
