Top 5 Players(at each position) in Live 2003?

Postby malice_05 on Wed Jul 09, 2003 7:44 am

Y'all agree on this?

G - Kidd/Payton
G - Bryant/Iverson or Pierce
C - O'Neal
F - Sprewell/Stackhouse
F - Duncan or Webber

I couldn't decide on one for each position. I was wondering if y'all agree though.

Iverson isn't very good because he always gets blocked.

Kidd, Baron Davis, Steve Francis, Kobe, T-Mac, Webber, Shaq, Marion (DAMN), Fisher, Jamison, Pierce, Terry, Stockton... it's definitely a guard's game, this version...

yeh in this game u need 3 things to win games
Legit hight (6'5-6'8)

Jerry Stackhouse is a good player and all, but he is really overated in this game. He does things that the "Real Stack" can't fathom doing. Agreed ?
I think his overall rating is a 93. Way too high. Should be high 70's or low 80's

i disagree with sprewell. at small forward it should be KG or VC. and T-Mac should be in the shooting guards and Baron Davis ay the point.

Here are the players i find to be the hardest to stop:

PG- Fisher/Bibby/Kidd/Davis/Francis/Marbz
SG- T-mac/Kobe/VC/Pierce/Richardson
SF- Marion/Peja
PF- Nowitzki/KG
C- Shaq

Yeah mine would be:

First team:
PG: Francis
SG: T-MAc
SF: Marion
PF: Dirk
C: Shaq

Second Team:
PG: Davis
SG: Kobe or Pierce (hard choice)
SF: Stack
PF: This is hard....... bt ill have to say KG or Jamison
C: Yao

I dont think kidd or payton should be in there for pg because they cant dunk and that makes them way easier to stop. the small fowards that dominate are the ones that either run and gun or have an outside game, the power fowards are the same xcept they spend more time in the paint but they still have to be versitile, i find duncan and webber to easy to stop and the centers... well shaq jst seems to be able to hit anything and that is the only reason he beats yao because when i play most dominat big men i can jst pull offensice fouls, but yao for some reason is smart and hardly ever backs down.

I think Tim Duncan is the best one, not because it is my favorite but because he wont miss any shot you make, unless it is a three pointer.

A player that also sorpised me is Wang Zhi Zhi

Fisher plays like he's rated 93...

PG Bibby/Fisher/Francis/Baron Davis
SG /Vince/Kobe/Terry/Finley/Reggie Miller in the final quarter/Houstan/RayAllen shoots like laser/Stack
SF Marion/Peja/Pierce/T-Mac/Jamison
PF Antoine Walker/Tim Duncan/KG/C-Webb/Nowitzki kills me with his threes

I would agree with jrgolfpro. Garnett is good. The player I rely the most and get the most points franchise after franchise is Antonio McDyess. Maybe its the way I play but for me, in NBA 2003, my highest scorer is most often my PF.

My favorite play is PG brings the ball, passes the ball around between PG, SG, and SF while PF is covered. Then PF is open and I pass to him quickly for a simple shot on the board (old-school style). Very effective in this 2003 game.

And if I sim the games, McDyess averages over 20 PPG (record season is over 28 PPG)and over 10 rebounds (record season is over 14 RPG). He is my guy in NBA LIVE 2003!
