I don't think we'll be getting a next gen converted game for the PC, but rather a regular console conversion.

The main reason is that not nearly enough people have a good enough computer for it. EA isn't just going to throw away a bunch of PC sales just to please some (it's almost all about the money). Another reason is that it would take a lot of time and money to make the conversion; not to mention it probably wouldn't be all that good anyways since they completely lack any experience with. And also, since they have a monopoly on the PC market already, there's no reason for them to go out of their way like that.

I'm hardly feeling negative! This game desperately needed facial expressions and personality. It's an early early look. I just hope it's not like that super-great looking picture of baron davis they used for live 2005, then the real one was much lesser.

Was watching the whole sony press conference about the ps3 and games coming out, the screens and video u see now are the ones they showed in e3 on the video which was available on gamespot. You guys should really dl the whole conference to know more, its really good.

It has also been announced that the PS3 controller will have motion-sensing capabilities much like those of the Nintendo Wii. I wonder if this will figure into Live 07 - I can already envision us looking like complete idiots in front of the computer miming the motion of a jumpshot with our controllers...

No, the PS3 controller only has tilting, NOT motion sensing. So you can tilt your controller left and right, that's it. Games like Kirby's tilt n Turn or Wario Ware:Twisted have already used it before. That's all it is. Oh yea, and they took out force feedback (A.K.A rumble) (Wario Ware twisted was able to fit the twisting thing and force feedback in the cart, yet PS3 can't fit both in a controller??)

Also...who really gives a crap about facial expressions for NBA Live. I hardly even use any replays anymore when I play NBA Live. I don't know when was the last time I used freestyle replay. I play in the most zoomed out setting in which I hardly really see the player's faces. I bet they spent a whole lot of time putting facial expressions and what not, but I would be perfectly fine without it.

If you've played the live for xbox 360, they zoom in every now and then.. Like when the ball goes out of bounce,shooting freethrows, fouls, etc. And they also look dead or more like robots when they zoom in.. So its definetely a plus adding those facial expressions.

I also think the live 07 for pc/ps2/xbox will have minimum graphic animations and will be a lot different compare to the new gaming consoles. I really don't see the graphic difference between the ps3 and 360. I'm pretty sure they might even cut down the price for 360's when ps3 comes out..maybe 100 bucks cheaper??? 360 games cost 60 bucks a pop, so how much would a blueray game gonna cost?? 70? 80? Or even maybe 90 dollars?!

It certainly does look promising.... But I've said the exact same thing for the past few years.

I just hope they add some better gameplay elements.

Yes, but they'll put less work into PC version, than PES3 or 360 versions, so i don't think there will be much changes fro PC version!

I think the reason why McGrady is chunky is because that's what EA Sports has estimated his weight for 07 since he's been or the IR for so long!

I know everyone's always wary after what happened with NBA Live 2002 but it seems highly unlikely that the game will not continue to be released for the PC version.

For the benefit of those who might have read that wrong...as far as I know, NBA Live 07 will be released for the PC as we've come to expect. We don't need to be concerned about that until we hear otherwise.
