I got the Demos for both NBA Live 2000 and 2001 so I have those courts for reference, as for any other progress....well there isn't any right now.

Im an Resident Assistant so I have floor programs to run tonight and tomorrow evening, followed by Intramural Basketball playoffs tomorrow and Thursday night.

As for this weekend, well Im on duty so Im stuck at school for Easter which is bad for me, but good for you all, because Ill have nothing better to do than work on these while everyone else goes home.

Note 1: Some of you who have/will be helping have been asked to be BETA testers for these courts. Ill be in contact thru PM. If anyone else would like to be a tester you have to have reasonable knowledge of how difficult this can be and give me quick responces on what needs to be improved; PM me.

Note 2: 100th Post

Bad news everyone......

I've been trying really hard to work on my "Back Alley" 1v1 court and I wanted to have a chain link fence in it.....

Well there are no, zip, nada textures, that i can use, in the Urban Court to make a chain link fence or anything with holes in it. (before you ask, the chain link fence in the original urban court can NOT be moved..)

What does this mean? I can't do a couple courts.....they are marked with dashes

# ---"The Cage"---
# ---"Rooftop"---
# NBA Live 2003 Beach
# ---NBA Live 2001 Practice---
# NBA Live 2000 Practice
# "Back Alley" (1v1 Only)
# Suburbes (1v1 Only)
# ---"Unity Park" (My hometown court)---
# "School Court"

I'm still going to try the courts but i can't make the mesh like i intended......ugh this sucks back to square 1, look back in a couple days for an update....

Can't you just create a flat wall model where you want the fence and apply a chainlink texture to it? And then just apply a completely transparent texture to the unmoveable chainlink fence so you don't see it?

No, i can't....thats what i've been trying to do.

Seems like the textures wont deal with the transparency. They just end up black.

I dont know what to do with this.....

Damn that sucks. Are you using FSHx to import your textures? Are you using DDS files or BMP?

Hey JaoSming11, awesome work man. You are the reason I've joined this forum. Wasn't even aware all that stuff was possible. Keep up the good work.

I have a question though... How can I replace all the courts in my dynasty with those custom ones you made? I want to play my dynasty with these street courts. No more NBA arenas.

Thanks for the help.

Thanks a lot man, thats a big compliment.

My advise for you is to hang tight and wait. I have only  6 more courts to make. Then I will be releasing a TC street mod.....at least the courts (I hope someone will help with a new season schedule / Jerseys / testing)[/u]

just wondering if you are putting the transparent texture on a plane (a 2D thing) or a box (the side of a building)... from your pic it looks like the latter which explains why it wouldn't work :)

The texture is on a 2D plane

the store fronts are their own instance inside the ebo file.....separate from the box

I've tried basically every texture in the level and i dont think its possible....

the only ones that work are the street signs and the stuff on the roofs...and you cant move those

OK then, I can't wait till you finish those. I would like to help for the other stuff, but I just found out these were possible. I can help with the testing though, if it doesn't get too complicated.

I'm trying you guys, i really am but im finding it a little difficult to stay focused with finals just 2 weeks away

I've said "fuck it" to my 1v1 "back alley" court, because, well, it didnt look like an alley and it just plain sucked

I've begun initial work on the NBA Live 2000 practice court and Im having issues dealing with the ground cover (overlapping, gaps) so its break time to play some guitar hero

now this is my plan with my courts / total conversion / NBA Street 06

5 courts split up between all teams in the NBA based on rank in their division

so for instance

ATLANTIC
New Jersey - Downtown Court
Philadelphia - Two different
Boston - Courts here
Toronto - Daylight Urban Court
New York - NBA Live 2000 court

and Rucker for the All-Star Game festivities

Something like that

JaoSming11, is it possible to make the ****bbd.ebo file from 05 to work on the 06?Cause the rim is thinner (more realistic as well as the physics of the net).
And is it possible to edit the net physics or at least its shape?and maybe you have any idea how to edit the rim?to make it thinner...

Crash and burn

can't....and i think it's because NBA Live 2005 actually had some kind of shadow system in it....which of course 06 doesnt have because yah know....its better
