help defending the 3

i just played the bucks, and they just bombed on my ass from down town.
they hit me up for 9 threes of 18 , while i shot a bismal 4 for 12. bobby simmons hit 4 of 6 and mike redd hit me for 4 of 6.

the very next night i payed the kings and bibby hit 4 of 7 and bonzi wells lit me up for 6 of 9. while the team shot 56 % from down town.

i really wanna know what is a defense that can shut down the outside shot.

tell me what's really good people

try using a zone like 3-2, and make sure to contest every shot

it's dismal, not bismal. just use a zone like volsey said. What I do is just control whoever's guarding their best 3pt shooter and hound him.

probly meant to say abysmal... anyway you should try going into playbooks - defensive matchups and for the 3 shooters crank the def. pressure to high, or even set to double team to get the ball out of his hands

if you press block with an outside stopper use the freestyle trigger to contest a jumpshot it makes them miss much more
