This jersey was done thanks to alot of big help from Brien. He made a jersey plugin for fshed. Info on it can be found here :

Grab it at my site.

BTW... I've realised that you guys mostly fancy full player updates to simply shoes and jerseys. Hence, i will start doing those again

Nice jersey, too bad you've got Peja wearing it, kinda ruins it.
The red doesn't seem bright enough though. Try fixing that.

I used peja cause thats who's jersey was featured in the real pic. Also, its too late to edit the jersey cause i deleted the high quality bmp by mistake...if i edit the imported version..it will loose quality even more. Dunno if you get what i mean.

over 80 views but thanks the 3 of you who actually posted something...lol.

Awesome job.

What happens if you make the shorts shorter

Specifically, design the shorts to, say, 200 x 512 rather than 240 x 512 and then adjust the "shorts" dimensions using the FshEd plugin.

I tried that Brien..but no go... :? . The shorts stayed the same...i'll try it again though.

Guys...i can't update the colors..i lost the higher quality bmp of the jersey (n). It's gonna have to stay like that unfortunately.

Here's more of the magic johnson patch preview...i did 3 diff types of knee pads and here is the practise version. It also has a custom skin color.

Hopefully if i can get fshed to do it...i will make a totally new shorts length for this patch....and i also wanna do a alternating prxx jersey. The other one will be lakers home jersey from the 80's.

Hey Yohance...

If you import your jersey with FSHEd and use an alpha mask you can make short shorts...you can't view the transparency, but the shorts will be short nonetheless...

Here is an example of my soon to be released KJ...I imported my jersey.bmp with a jerseya.bmp mask and this is the result...

Yea Danet...i make alpha channels for numbers...but when i tried it with jerseys...it didn't work. However, i was just messing around with photoshop and decided to click on the alpha channel i made with the jersey..then saved that as 32bit...now the unselected area is transparent. In other words...i got it to work...he now has medium length shorts. (y)

Thug, can you make some kind of tutorial that explains how to make medium length shorts, please!!! I've been trying to do that for months now. I am unsure exactly how to make an alpha channel.

Maybe an easier way could be you could release a jersey file with medium length shorts and then I could import a new .bmp with EAGraph into it.......?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Using a separate alpha mask like I described or a 32 bit BMP with a built in alpha mask are basically the same thing...glad to see you got it to work.

Nevermind Thug and DANet, I actually read the instructions to the FshEd program and voila, it worked.

Thanks to DANet for a great program.

Now, if we could just get someone who can get OEdit or another program to allow headshape and body editing!!!

I'm sorry Brien, thank YOU for the FshEd program. Are we able to move the blet lower on the jersey. That is, can we move the name on the back of the jerseys down farther?

You know...that would rightly be cool..being able to edit the letters also. Arching them and what not...some of them lay straight horizontal as it is.

BTW..magic johnson patch is comming along cool. Like i said above...it will have alternating jerseys (new shorts lengths)...and i'm throwing in custom socks in the mix. The ones EA have are kinda flat and all look the same...magic wore some thick bobby socks type thing. Atleast 4 various cyber face looks covering his career...it's gonna be large and you guys are gonna like this patch.
