Fattest players?

Postby EGarrett on Mon Mar 27, 2006 8:01 am

I have a 6'9" 341 pound power forward, and a 6'1" 278 pound point guard on the injured reserve.

The weight thing really gets out of control sometimes...

Wow, never seen that, only the undersized players. A 6'1" 278 pound player would be quite a sight.

That's not so bad though, it's quite Eddy Curry/Shawn Kemp-like. 6'1", 278 would really be something. Khalid El-Amin was quite bulky and he was under six foot, but nowhere near 300 pounds.

He's not quite as toned as he once was but he's still muscular and more agile than the average 300 pound man. Shaq is carrying extra weight, Oliver Miller was (and likely still is) fat.

In 8th grade I was the fattest player. I swear I was like 6'0" 265 lbs... Couldn't dribble with my left for more then 5 secounds. Couldn't run a suicide without dien.

My coach was a freekin stubborn bastard to. Reminds me of coach carter. Lol

By my freshman year I had got to 6'4" 200 lbs and also made the high school team starting center.

Most of the fat turned to muscle. I started lifting weights with the football team. Even though I didn't play football. So I was maxing out on the weights 3 times a week. No one told me I needed to just do reps. I gained muscle and just got to where I was to bulkey really.

Well not really to bulkey but at the time I was a better forward then a center because basketball was my life an who wants to learn posting up when you can learn behind the back dribble tricks and spins an crap.

The coaches were to dumb to teach me how to use my body down low because they were just ppl hired from where they were the guards in 1970 or whatever. Lol One would sit an read a book during practise.

So after my Junior year I got fed up with the staff and left them in the middle of my senior year. Along with 2 team mates.

Later on playing with diffrent people in tournaments at the parks and stuff I learn't how to be a big man.

AND THATS THE STORY OF THE FATTEST PLAYER!! Lol

He made the Rookie/Sophomore game as a rookie participant representing Chicago in 2001, but was cut before the season ended.
