thx, didnt see you posted a reply  , ye Marbury is just a sick slasher, not many players there who can guard him due his quickness.

Thank you, well Marbury and Q are my only FFS, but Marbury rocks.

Instead of writing the Houston recap, I used the time to change all the links of the plays of the game to youtube links.
So to those, who dont wanna download, now you can just chill and watch.

Knicks comeback is not enough, Houston takes win !

Knicks overcome 13 point deficite, but are not able to win.

It was a tough game by the Knicks, but Houston did enough to handle them.
Both teams wore their 98/99 throwbackjerseys, when the Rockets had a strong start. Tracy McGrady made 4/5 field goals, including a threepointer.

The Knicks had some problems and fell down by 8, when Larry Brown decided to bring Steve Francis into the game for Jamaal Crawford.
Francis made 10 points, six in a row, which helped the Knicks not to fall behind completely. Yao added 6 for the Rockets, which led 30-22.

"We told ourselves to play better defense in the 2nd, it worked, this gave us a boost.", Eddy Curry said.

The Knicks played strong defense and were able to hold the Rockets to only 18 points. Most of them scored by Yao Ming. Marbury and Jalen Rose added 6 each, and the Knicks limited their deficite to 4. 44-48.

But Houston was able to bounce back in the 3rd. David Wesley and Tracy McGrady combined for 4 threes, Yao showed he is in an MVP-shape, grabbing 5 rebounds and 8 points.

The Knicks weren´t able to keep their defensive pressure.
Best Knick in the 3rd was Channing Frye, hitting most of his jumpers.
But the Knicks completely lost their rhytm, felt behind by 13. Even worse was the injury of Nate Robinson, who broke his nose after a collision with Jon Barry, he was out for the game.

"It´s good, that we showed this moral, this might help us in the next games", Larry Brown said.

New York played his best basketball, Jalen Rose had 9 of his 17 points, Marbury started to control the Knicks´ offense.
T-Mac and Yao were shut down by the defense, Wesley used his space, made 10 points including 2 threes, but at 0:30 left to play Knicks were only down by 1, Houston had possesion.

Jon Barry, who had 8 assists in the ballgame, ran an isolation play, but was denied with The Play Of The Game by Eddy Curry.
Knicks took a timeout, 0:04 left on the gameclock.
Quentin Richardson got the ball and took a wild shoot, but couldn´t connect. Houston wins 103-104.

T-Mac had 21 points, Yao 22 and David Wesley added 21.
Rafer Alston and Jon Barry had 8 assists each. Yao and Stromile Swift combined for 19 boards.

Stephon Marbury and Steve Francis had 20 points each, Jalen Rose suprised with 17 after Q-Rich had an off night with 1-7 from 3 point land.

The Rockets outrebounded the Knicks and shot .400 from beyond the arc.

The Dunk Of The Night was Nate Robinson´s run through the lane.
The Play Of The Game was Eddy Curry´s block, which might have won the game for the Knicks.

Juwan Howard guarded by two Knicks
Jalen Rose with 2 of his 17 points
