2 on 2 maybe?

Talk about NBA Live 06 here.

2 on 2 maybe?

Postby trecenters on Mon Mar 20, 2006 3:11 pm

Has anyone ever made a 2on2 patch... or 3on3 ect???I was thinking this may be possible. I don't know if you are able to edit the games code or not though.

If you can't edit that maybe it would be possible to have the players that you don't want plus the bench maybe fouled out at the start of the game. I would think this would make you have to use only the remaining 2 or 3 players.

I don't know if this should be in the patch request or what so I just put it here. I am not a programmer just a computer tech so let me know youre thoughts on this.

Also the sweat patch is great Pdub... You did a really good job. PROPS!

P.S. Has anyone Downloaded a RIP of the NBA Live xbox360 to see if any file formats are compatable yet?

Sorry, that kind of discussion is against the rules.

Editing the game to create new modes or reduce regular gameplay to 5 on 5/2 on 2 isn't possible.

No, it's not possible either. Also, NBA rules state that five players must be on the court at all times and under those circumstances, players may continue with six or more personal fouls...but incur additional penalties.

My mistake. I did indeed mean to say reducing regular gameplay from 5 on 5 to 3 on 3/2 on 2 isn't possible.

Had to double-check myself with the official NBA rulebook (2005/2006 edition) I bought last year, the rule still stands and has been implemented properly in every edition of Live. Actually happened to me a couple of times legitimately in NBA Live 95 (since injuries were much more frequent then).

I believe the real life record is 8 fouls, but I can't remember who holds it. For some reason, I want to say Darryl Dawkins. Too lazy to look it up right now. ;)

Alot of files that are on my xbox360 DVD the same name as my PC CD's Files but they are diffrent file size of course.

I will test a few out on my PC version BUT I don't know what files do what...

So I really have no idea what to look for... Besides like the loading video.
