I can't even throw it of the glass in all-star

must be something wrong with my contoller setup even though i use PS2 controller
looks like a very nice court

looking forward to your Rucker court
Tue Mar 14, 2006 3:15 am
its whatever you bind to "off-ball" for ps2 you press down on the right analong stick
Tue Mar 14, 2006 3:24 am
i do but it just does the normal off the ball where you pick a player and make him go where you want
Tue Mar 14, 2006 6:26 am
just tap it, dont hold it, and do make sure you are in the all-star game, better yet try it out in practice mode
BTW Under Armour Court is finished
Tue Mar 14, 2006 7:10 am
lol very interesting, underarmour court.

lol...yea...an odd choice for a bball sponsor, but cool nonetheless

cool

no idea what Under Armour is(stab/bulletproof vests

) but it looks like a nice idea, looking forward to Rucker

Nice courts, would be cool if you could nail Rucker (and not just put a fence around the urban court and put the leaf on the middle).
Isn't Under Armour a brand that makes that kind of protective gear? Like armsleeves, undershirts, compression shorts, etc.?

yup, I used under Armour because of the "inspiration" from the fight night round 3 warehouse stadium
rucker will be an interesting one because there are almost twice as many objects in the Urban Court as there are in the Practice Gym i used
I may whip off another quick court with the Urban Court as a base just to familiarize myself with the objects and where things can be mov'd to
Look for an update next week....Kinda got swamped with school work this week

Under Armour is the brand of exactly what cklistie said, armsleeves, undershirts, compression shorts, etc. that has basically swept athletic America quietly. It's everywhere, and I feel like it happened overnight. Every sport now is wearing Under Armor EVERYTHING now. The quality of the product is GREAT!
Nice courts! Can't wait for Rucker!

underarmour is pretty comfortable.. expensive. but totally worth it.
Thu Mar 16, 2006 4:57 am
Great, really can't wait for the Rucker court
Thu Mar 16, 2006 8:18 am
Jao ask dahl to assist you with the Rucker Patch...If you guys get together I know it would be amazing

OK good news and bad news
First Good News:
I have no idea how i did it, but i replaced the all-star court with my Daylight Urban one which means we will have the off the backboard pass available anytime by pressing the "Off-Ball" Button
And Bad News:
This project just got a lot harder than I previously thought....
The fact that there were a lot of objects to move around in the urban court did not phase me, what is bothering me is that fact that I only have 1 bleacher to work with, and the only other object I might be able to use for bleachers are some steps....
....this means the crowd would either be floating in mid air or on a flat sloped "bleacher"
I think that the crowd is dense enough to get away with the flat bleacher but time will see....I still have a lot of preliminary work to do

Like I suggested before, get with Dahl and collaborate on th e project. A joint venture would really bring the best out of this project (not saying you cant do it yourself) but to talents are better than one

I e-mailed Dahl and he said thanks but no thanks. Citing that he would rather work alone I would have to agree with him. The EBO editor is not easy to use in the first place, nevermind trying to work with someone else at the same time.

Update with a new Dunk Contest Court, it does NOT overwrite the All-Star court. I also did NOT include the version with the dummy like my Props Dunk School even though it is shown in the video.
Enjoy it, look back from time to time, I dont know if i will get anything done with this during spring break

That's just plain sick man, looks like almost anything is possible as far as court making/editing..
I love those spotlights on the court and the whole atmosphere out there.
Sat Mar 25, 2006 9:38 am
sick
Sat Mar 25, 2006 11:25 am
This is really great
I love the video and the presenation but I really can't see the court lol.
Request: Can you make a 'Lighting Patch' for the Rookie Game/ASG. I mean make the lights dimmer like the one on the Dunk Court Video Preview.
Sat Mar 25, 2006 2:01 pm
I have no idea how to do anything with the lights, sorry
BUT i am very interested so if anyone who knows anything about the lighting in this game, even just saying which files control the lighting would be a big help
also if anyone knows how the Default Urban Court doesnt have reflections by default would be a help too
