Best Simulated Box Scores?

Postby EGarrett on Thu Mar 16, 2006 3:10 am

I like to check the Box Scores now and then when I sim games in Dynasty.

I noticed that in the last game of the season...our starting small forward put up 40 points, 5 boards, 9 assists and 2 steals on 18/24 and 2/3 from the three-point line.

What's the best simulated performance you've seen? And be honest.

In my newest dynasty, I check box scores every day. Already on the first day, Rashad McCants put up 48 points...

This is for simulated box scores, not ones you have played.

I don't really check the box score that much but I have seen a few 50+ games from Michael Redd.

Jan 11 2008
Ben Wallace - 88 pts, 26 rbs, 10 assts, 2 stl, 1 blk

that was due to a glitch that replaced all Atlanta's players ('xcept for Ben) with a Blank player

Jan 11 2008
Tracy McGrady - 45 pts, 18 rbs, 12 assts, 2 st, 1blk.

Jan 13 2008

For me it was my created player. I wanted to make him a walking triple-double machine, and yet he only put up four of them in his rookie season... Anyways, his best game was against the Nets (the best team in the league). He put up 41 points, 16 rebounds, and 14 assists. He also had something like 5 blocks, and 6 steals, while shooting, like, 60%. It was pretty decent.

Best box score was for one of my the generated players in my dynasty. He had 47 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists, and he made 7-8 three-pointers.

Not the best performance by any means but definitely a strange outcome for Pau Gasol in a CPU vs CPU game in my current Dynasty:

Haven't seen that happen before. His Primacy ratings appears to be OK as well.

That happened to McGrady for me too :s and his primacy was fine.
You know what is messed up ? Chuckey Atkins primacy is 99 and he made the starting lineup for western allstar game. Should look into that or is it jus mine

I don't think it's 99 in my roster update. Unfortunately there's nothing I can do about the recalculations except suggesting restoring them manually if you're playing the PC version.

Yeah I have had the same experience when playing vs Memphis/Pau Gasol, he doesn't get many touches and gets most of his points from offensive rebounds.

thats an annoying bug... ive noticed the game also recalculates Dan dickau, Ridnour, Lue primacy ratings to 99 as soon as some other player on their team gets injured  ... maybe EA likes them small PG's :P

I really hope the recalculation is taken out in NBA Live 07. Even if the simulation/stats engine isn't perfect without it, it's a lot worse after the Primacy ratings go all over the place. A shame nothing can be done to stop it, except disabling injuries. And that takes realism/variety out of the Dynasty game.

lol, thats funny, maybe he got shut down by the wallaces, and how the fuck did he take 3 fts, don't fouls count as shots? And if not, did he get fouled taking 3pter?

And all those guys taking 1 free throw without making a shot... lots of techs (too many timeouts illegal defence)
