That's one of the best mags I've ever seen. I like the change you did for the league leaders and stuff by adding the player 3d face to it, very nice touch.

Thanks again :) I felt the awards and stats could use some freshening up, so I put those in-game players there instead. Not all that hard really since I just used the magic wand...

Mark.: It's the Gausian Blur on the background; and yea, that's the sweat patch (y)

By the way, so far there's 8 people that feel that I should trade him, against 4 that think he should stay; so I've started to look into a few different trade variants, but if you have any suggestion, please share :)

No, I haven't released any of the 'real' practice courts yet... And I took a screenshot of the player standing in the edit player menu, and then just used the magic wand to cut out the background.. (y)

    Toronto Raptors vs. Memphis Grizzlies

      Toronto Raptors - 94
      Memphis Grizzlies - 101

      (Boxscore)

Game Recap: It was Hardwood Classics Night at the FedEx Forum as the Memphis Grizzlies hosted the Toronto Raptors. The Grizzlies has started to play really well together recently and has, seemingly, overcome the problems that they had at the start of the season. They played well organized, helped each other out on defence and had some very nice ball movement as they got away with the win. It was, however, not an easy win as the Raptors played very physical and used their size to their advantage. It was a very even contest throughout the game, but the Grizzlies managed to put away the game in the forth quarter, much due to the help of Eddie Jones' awesome play towards the end.
Chucky Atkins got the chance to start at the PG spot instead of Damon Stoudamire, but didn't quite make the best of it, as he made 5 turnovers and was only 1 out of 7 from the field up until he got fouled as he went up for a lay-up in the third quarter and had to leave the game with a sprained wrist; which will take him out of action for the next week, thus making him unable to play in the game against the Cavaliers on Sunday.

      Reactions after the game:

      - X. Jing: "Our main focus in the game was to contain Bosh because he's their best man. We wanted to hold him within 20 points and less than double digits in rebounds, and we did exactly that. Their big guys scored, but there wasn't much else for them. On our team everyone got some points and shot the ball well, thus we won."
      - E. Jones: "Oh well, we played great as a team, and I was feeling great as well. I just had one of those quarters where everything seemed to go my way, which is a great feeling..."

    ImageImage
Left: Hakim Warrick throwing it down old-school in the old Memphis Pros uniforms | Right: Lorenzen Wright had another big game off the bench. Here seen splitting the two defenders

    ImageImage
Left: Mike Miller was feeling it from the field as he shot 4 out of 4 from downtown | Right: M. Pietrus comes up big on defence as he goes up for the block on D. Martin's shot attempt

    ImageImage
Left: Eddie Jones celebrates after hitting his second consecutive three pointer in the forth quarter | Right: The Raptors used all their time-outs in the game, but it just wasn't enough

      Notes about the game:

      - Eddie Jones got the MVP of the game as he lead his team to the win, with his season high 17 points
      - Chucky Atkins will be out for a week after getting a sprained wrist
      - Toronto got more than three times as many steals, but still didn't manage to slow down the Grizzlies offensive enough

Atkins aint doing good at that PG position.
I think it's team to trade for a new one.
Miller did good off the bench.
CB4 did good. (y)
Oh ya, your still in my dynasty so as soon as I get some info and CF from you, we are good to go.

Crunk-Lao: Yea, Atkins didn't really come into it as good as I was hoping... We'll see the next game, where Stoudamire gets to start again, after that I'll decide whether to trade him... Oh, and Roberson will be suiting up to play in the NBA for the first time :)

raptors6thman: Sorry I didn't use the old Vancouver jerseys, but I just got those Pro's jerseys and wanted to try them out (Thanks Ben :)), next time tho...

Its cool bro, the fact that you actually considered my suggestion is satisifaction enough. i know for a fact that the last game toronto played in memphis was a hardwood classics night. (the grizzlies wore that very same pro's uniform) sadly my raptors never wore the dino uniforms since changing to the new uniforms. hopefully for the return game in toronto? great job btw

I love the logos etc that you have, they are just little things, but boost the dynasty's appearance so much, congrats on the win too, my only gripe is that you dont play 12min Q's, but thats totally understandable as a game takes like 1 1/2 hours on 12 min Q's

Thanks again fellas :)

raptors6thman: I'm only playing a 29 game season because this is my first dynasty, but if I face them in the playoffs somehow, I'll be sure to wear the old jerseys (y)

Mark.:I don't play longer than 8 or 9 minute quarters (depending on the opposition) because my sliders are configured to fit that length of quarters. I wouldn't mind playing 12 minute quarters though if I could find some nice sliders to go with it and that wouldn't make the stats and scores unrealistic..

    Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Memphis Grizzlies

    Cleveland Cavaliers - 123
    Memphis Grizzlies - 130

    (Boxscore)

Game Recap: As LeBron James and his crew came into town to face the Grizzlies, fans was flocking to the FedEx Forum hoping for a great game, and it did not disappoint. The game was even right from the start, and the teams were only a few points apart at all times, and it could have gone either way; and eventually it had to be decided in overtime, after which the Grizzlies stood victorious. Damon Stoudamire played really good and did not appear to have any problem shooting the ball, as he was 5 out of 5 from the field. He was also very eager to prove himself on the defensive end, which resulted in a few steals, although it also resulted in 13 turnovers. Both teams played very well, but in the end, it came down to how well the teams used the ball when they had it, and while the Grizzlies was making that extra pass and getting that extra look, the Cavs was almost forcing up shots. Memphis Grizzlies is on a nice roll now after a slow start to the season...

Left: LeBron James goes up for two of his 33 points in their overtime loss against the Grizzlies | Right: Eddie Jones made a season-high 26 points and was 9 out of 18 from the field

    Reactions after the game:

    - P. Gasol: "It was a very tight game but in the end, we were the better team. We played better team basketball, and that was what won us the game"
    - M. Fratello: "It was a close game, but our guys just wanted it more. They [Cleveland] didn't play for the win as much as played more for themselves it seemed like.."

    Notes about the game:

    - MVP honours went to Pau Gasol as he lead the team with 33 points and 16 rebounds
    - The Cavaliers was only 3-28 from three point range, while the Grizzlies was 11-18
    - Damon Stoudamire was season high in points (13) and in turnovers (13)
    - Anthony Roberson made his NBA debut, and had 6 points and 2 assists
    - Chucky Atkins did not suit up for the game as he was out with a sprained wrist
