people keep talking about a dbf player editing guide. i would like to know what it is and where i can download it at. pleaz help.

The guides contain information about the fields and their respective values, which you will encounter if you open up the dbf files with a program such as DB Commander (available in the Downloads section).

I made a thread earlier reagarding the age factor. I go to dbf and edit Dwyane Wade's age from 1983 to 1986 and still hes 22. I exit my nba live 2006 game fully and i run it up agen and still its not working? I wonder why and also i click the checkmark too? Any tips?

You need to make sure you re-load whichever roster file you've edited for the changes to take effect. If you want to edit a Dynasty in progress, you need to edit the files associated with the appropriate saved game. Be sure to make a backup in case anything goes wrong.

so what you're saying is, save rosters and then edit db stuff and then start up nba live again and then re-load rosters? and if it is, how do you save rosteres on live?

That's correct. Rosters can be saved from the Load/Save screen.
