My comp is messed up right now so I can't check this (It crashes when I open more than one interent explorer (I just have to reatart in a few minutes) or open up pics in explorer) but I think that it said 112 points in 20 minutes on that screenshot.

112 points with one player in 20 minutes on Superstar is pretty much impossible for me to beat. All-Star, possibly, but I'm just not that good with Live 2003's Superstar difficulty.

I doubt is was on superstar. That's just freakishly good, like don't you do anything else good, for superstar. I'm guessing starter, maybe rookie if they were just going for point record.

True, but I wasn't sure, since Sleepz said he was playing Superstar when he set that record. In any event, my record of 139 points on Superstar, 12 minute quarters (as EG's original conditions were, though I had foul out on) still stands.

112pts is not imposible, it depends on what team... as i said in Franchise section i gto luky with GS when i got 9 years in a row of the very first game, ust last night i i desided to play the very last game of the finals(the hardest on) i counnt stop paul p, he got 85 pts in 5 min quaters on superstar. but i beat them easlily can remember the whlo score but J-rich, T-mac, Ray Allen, amd my 7'5 Monster (CPU rookie) each got 50+pts, blocks were also off the hook, j-rich with 25 !!

That's still 27 points short, and it was a player on the OTHER team.

Frankly speaking, thats not difficult. As u can see that kobe took all the shot out of the team and most of the field goals were under the basket.

It's not that we're untrusting, it's just difficult to argue with screenshots.

You should try 12 minute quarters on Superstar - at that pace, you'd probably set a record that would be difficult to beat. :)

I thought someone else set the record from this reply. Although since I know it was you and you're saying it was on superstar then I believe you.

that reply, 'I suppose it was on superstar level although i have forgot where i got this pic' is fot that paul p. Kobe 150 pts was done by me. I dun care if u doubt it. i just share my things here. I dun need to force anyone to believe me. Even if that's not mine (but thats really mine), so what? I just want to share the record. No matter who did that, that's a record. I am not showing off and waiting for u guys' compliments. I dunno if u are insulting me or what, just forget it. but i do hate ur tone.

i only play surestar, and i got my record, plus again it depends on what team, its easier if its 12 min a quater and u get ur players on fire!!

so do i. Rookie level is meaningless at all. But as i can get 150 pts on superstar level. i just want to see that if i can get much higher on rookie.

Well i was planning to post about how i got 98 points with LeBron James in 24 minutes, but seems there is already a better record. ;)

This is sort of topic related...

hmm I got 23 assists with shammond williams in franchise mode once (no roster patch or edited players)

that was back when I used to play 5 minute quarters in superstar

I play nothing but 7 now.

I was actually trying to get assists. I had 5 assists in the first minute of the game so I figured what the hell. Plus the game in franchise mode gets really repetitive if you play too much. Even in superstar level, the only way I lose is if I'm not really paying attention.

It's really easy to rack up assists on post up plays...and the easiest way of course is on the fast break. I tried to have the ball in his hands at all times. Rasheed was my main post option, and he's just too easy to score with. Especially with no roster patches that adjust the shooting...unpatched you can seriously take over 20 shots and not miss one. I started using patches simply cause I was getting tired of averaging .800% fg shooting and having all my players in the top 15.

I've never played 12 minutes because the stats are just plain ridiculous and to tell you the truth there's no reason why anybody should play 12 minute quarters in live 03.

Unless you're just trying to set records.

Oh and just the other day, I don't know what was up with the lakers. The way I have them edited now (malone and payton and changed primacy ratings so that they play well together), they're really top notch. They're even hard to beat with decade all star teams....but I dropped 61 points on them with jerry stackhouse and the whole laker team had 61.

I almost shit my pants.

Sometimes the computer just doesn't seem to be playing right. I beat the spurs with the nuggets by 35 points the other day.

I think it mainly has to do with the fact that the computer doesn't use post players as much as it should. And also post players only have one move. They back you down and they shoot a turnaround jumper. All you have to do is just move to the right spot and swat it. I've had shaq score 4 points in a game before

that should never happen

I always play 12 minute quarters, out of habit I suppose. I've just come to tolerate the high scores.
