I'm not a Java-Programmer

I made to new players.dbf files
I take DoubleA's Roster and update the attributes.

You can download it here:

Is there any way to use the toolkit to modify the rookies only? I simulated the first season of my franchise and am now in the second. The only problem is that the rookies are much better than the veterans.

yes, you can do it that way, make sure you make a copy of your players.dbf or you can just, from the game, go to options, load/save/, click save roster, type any name you want, click ok and extract the file to my documents/saves, and whatever 001 file the game assinged to the file. go back to the game, click options, click on the roster file, click load, and your all set.

Shit....that are bad messages.
I think you must change all of the rookies one by one... :|

Just played a game using the 0.5 * block dbf. My first time playing on superstar mode and also my first time playing arcade mode which i guess is a slower pace. I used def fouls 3rd from max, off fouls 2nd from max, standard rules, fatigue, and injuries on. 8 minute quarter

I picked the Warriors and played against the Sonics and boy did i get my ass kicked...

Player of the Game:
Gary Payton - 30 pts, 14/20 FG, 1/4 3point, 1/1 FT, 4 Reb, 9 Ast, 5 Stl, 3 TO's

my best player was Antawn Jamison - 9/16 FG, 2/2 3's, 9 Reb, 2 Blk, 1 Ast

GS----Sea
88-----108 -- Points
42%---61% -- FG
33%---20% -- 3pointer
15/26--1/34 -- Off/Def Rebounds
5--------7 -- Blocks
6--------7 -- Steals
15------29 -- Assist
24------17 -- Turnovers
7-------20 -- Fouls

except for the somewhat high percentage that they posted and the 1 offensive rebound, I'd say that its pretty good. Their 3% is low because of my defense.. i couldnt stop anything down low and they caught me with numerous fast breaks. The game itself plays really slow however, spin moves take forever to execute, as do crossovers. maybe the game speed should be upped a bit.

12 min quarter superestar mode.

Postby Xavi on Sat Nov 23, 2002 6:18 am

I've played with your last tweaked rosters:

12 min quarter, Superstar mode, player controls shots, arcade mode(cause is the simulation mode) with rules all on with faults in the midle. Here is what i've seen and my suggestions to make a more real game:

*. C.P.U. makes too much fast breaks so it shots a lot and cause plenty of points per quarter. If you can decrease a little the speed the number or posessions will be reduced and points per quarter be near to the real life.
It will effect the fg % because with CPU ataquing static their fg% will be reduced for them.

Try to improve this and then will see. Thank you and good job.

Hi Sven ,
I'm very happy with your roster! :D My games are very realistic.
A little question. In the Franchise mode I have a little problem. STandings and teams power are not realistic. For example...Memphis is 2th in the West. Cleveland is 1TH in THE EAST...
Is it normal ?
Thx for you rhelp
Ale
