2005-06 Roster Patch V1.0

I have finally completed my roster patch... It is available to anyone that wants it emailed to them.. based on the response of the people that get it.. I will decide whether its worth enough to post in the download section..

here is a copy of the read me file that will be in the zip file..

Rosters updated until 02/25/06

features:

-Created entire draft Classes for 2004 and 2005.
-Created additional missing players (there may be 5-6 players in entire league not accounted for, mostly 10 Day Contract players)
-Made all trades and free-agent signings up through 02/25/06 (possibility that some minor players on teams were cut during season but I did not drop them)
-Charlotte Bobcats team added as Team 41 (during season or franchise play must use CUSTOM and LONG schedule types, if you use the standard NBA and 82 set-up Charlotte will show up in the standings, but will not play any games)
-East and West All Star Teams updated to 05-06 rosters (Teams 30 & 31)
-Majority of older veterans in free agent pool put into retirement (Team 32)

Ratings: Ratings on the whole are fairly accurate, teams performing up to where they are this year (exception is the Knicks, one of those teams that looks good on paper stat wise, but otherwise is a mess)

-Individual performances also seem to be up to par, leading scorers in the league are the usual suspects, there are some random players that will not perform or are over producing regardless of how much I tweak them.

-Stats seem to be ok with the exception of assists which seem low, only one player in the league averages above 10.0

Depth Charts: Since I sim seasons after each update I make to ensure the file still works, the game does it own depth based on overall ratings, so it may not jive with current NBA Depth Charts

Schools: Most created players should have them listed, with the exception of the high school kids.

Appearances: probably the biggest thing that needs to be adjusted for some of the created players, have alot of light skinned, short hair players.

Jersey Numbers and Positions: Should all be correct, Recently traded players may still have jersey number from former team, and I usually do not have a player without a secondary position, alot of time it is a default of PF for C, SF for PF, ETC. Unless the player is known for only playing one position (ie - Shaq at C, or J. Kidd at PG)

Cyberfaces: None, did not have the time nor the effort for it.

General Notes:

I'm sure there are some oversights or adjustments that can be made, so please send me any comments you have.

hmmmm... good rosters with everything up to date... but i cant play with the bobcats at home or away or in season/franchise, and i hav the bobcats courts and jersey installed???

you need to make sure the schedule is set to "CUSTOM", if you try and use the basic "NBA" schedule.. they will not work

yes i did that but its also in exhibiton mode and wen ever playin with bobcats the game crashes about 3 quaters thru the loading sequence

I havent had any problems with the Bobcats at all.. but I will look into it somemore

I went back and double checked, I have no problems in exhibition, season, or franchise modes on my desktop PC, where I originally created the file...

BUT, when I try it on my laptop, I can use the Bobcats in season and franchise mode but I cant use them in exhibition or in season if I actually play a game as opposed to simming it...

I think it has something to do with a Bobcats patch I download off the internet a while back.. I am going to try and find that and let you know what happens.
